Nice flying!!
On my E-flite 1.2m p-51 I was able to put a pulse 2700mAh battery and it flies like a dream.
Good to see someone with a good knowledge of aerodynamics flying.
I really like this plane definitely on my short list😀
You make it look so easy.nice plane.
thanks - this plane is pretty easy and as3x always makes you look better :)
With the stock 40a ESC, this bird (along with the rest of Horizon's 1.2m Warbird collection) are 4S birds. They recommend not going to crazy with the prop with 4S on this bird, otherwise move up to 50/60a ESC.
This is my second favorite war bird behind the mustang because I think the a10 warthog is it’s predecessor and I love the a10
Wow! I hope to get one soon.
It's a good one :) Should have some more flights tomorrow as long as the weather is good.
Thanks again, yes I will I hope I don't have to program the receiver or just how I have to position it in the plane I hope, but thanks for the info great to no I can use it,,
it is important to position it in the plane per the instructions for the as3x to work correctly.
I went to the RAF museum and saw both p47 and spitfire mk9
And the p47 looks LIKE A FLYING TANK compared to the spitfire
Which museum was that? I went to Duxford a long time ago. Yes the spit is tiny in person, just a little hot rod. The Jug is a beast of a fighter/bomber!
great video always a pleasure to watch great job, Question I have a ar636a as3x receiver and bought the e flite 47 pnp version do you no if I can put this receiver in this plane and will it work, the receiver came out of the timber? thanks Kevin
Yes you can use that receiver - that is the same receiver that comes with the BNF. Just be sure to follow the instructions for installing it correctly.
Mine needed weight in the front....tail heavy
Nice flight, but your motor sounds sick.
He is really beautiful the E-flite P-47 Razorback.
E-flite 3200mAh battery would be better for me.
Very good video.
Thank you.
Yvan
good morning dude, i saw you p47 video on compare whit spitfire mk whit safe what kind of plane do you preffer? its the same plane whit a different fusselage? what kind its more easy to fly and land? thaks for help
I plan to fly the P-47 with SAFE to see how it compares to the Spitfire. Without SAFE they are pretty close-the Spit may be a little more forgiving-the P-47 will probably drop a wing faster when you get really slow. But they are both good flying models.
is this an easy plane to fly for me, i have an apprentice and sportsman s+, this has safe select so it might help me.
Hi Jon - if you are comfortable with the Apprentice you shouldn't have a problem with this one. This one and the Spitfire and pretty easy planes to fly for warbirds.
I have been looking at this one for awhile. Big fan of the 47. The biggest model I have flown is the Parkzone P47 and was wondering if this thing flies anything like it? Thank you! Also I can fly the UMX line and the Parkzone models and they are a breeze.
You should have no trouble with this one - it is very forgiving and has a nice range of performance. Just give yourself a little more space since it is a larger plane, but you should be just fine with it.
Discover RC thank you for the very fast reply. You are one of my favorite plane channels! Looking forward to the next vlog or review.
You need to put a sound system in it so it has that big radial Harley sound.
how does it compare to the P51 That Horizon Hobby makes
It's similar - the P-51 is probably just a little faster and more aerobatic.
Just bought one. I try to cg it but it needs a lot of weight even with my 3s 3300 batt al the way to the font.....over 5 ounce. I never had this with e Flite planes, is this normal? First I tried with 3s batt 2200 like you but then it needed over 12 ounce...did you had the same problem?
Mine didn't need any nose weight - have you flown it or are you trying to balance it before flying?
@@DiscoverRC balance before flight. It's verry tail heavy and i m afraid to try like this
The Jug' stands for "Juggernaut"
Is she underpowered at all with the 3s 2200?
it flies great on 3s. plenty of power for sport flying. It's not ballistic power and great vertical like you would get with one more cell, but it's just right for the model.
can it take a 3200 3s?
no problem - the only thing I would do is check the cg - you may need that pack slight further back.
You can fly this on 4 cell no problem
Had Horizon marketed this plane as a 4s plane by installing a bigger motor n esc they wouldnt have discontined it already...Pilots dont want slow flying warbirds in general....Get that thru your head Horizon
slap a Lectron pro 5200mah innthat puppy!
Thx for that Review. Helped me to decide to get that one.Greets from Austria
sure thing - glad it was useful. It's a good model, have fun with it.
