Just because she debated the pros and cons for both players chances, and you happened to turn that into her being sure Davenport would win, well the online article shows how wrong you are.

I was sobbing I was so happy for sweet Jana Novotna!! A constant top 10:player for more then a decade. I remember seeing her play at an Exhibition match in London back in 2000 at Wimbledon. I tried so hard to grab her autograph but was unsuccessful. Had I known just a few years later Jana died of cancer………..I still remember Lindsey vs Venus in ‘05 after Venus beat Pierce in the QF’s in one of the best sets of tennis I have ever watched. Then she beat Sharapova in the SF’s and Davenport in an epic epic final!!!!
