P&O Shore Experiences: Scenic Flåm Railway

The Flåm Railway is a remarkable piece of engineering that affords passengers breathtaking vistas. You’ll travel along the Flåm River to Myrdal Station, 866 metres above sea level, a magical journey that takes in rivers racing through deep gorges, waterfalls leaping off mountainsides, snow-covered peaks, farms precariously clinging to vertiginous slopes and tunnels twisting through the mountain. It's the steepest standard-gauge railway line in the world - Norwegian engineering at its most daring and skilled.
