Dru Hill really had 3 top tier lead singers in one group and a great producer. Much respect.

I remember when at the end of CD's people dedicated the album to God or at least had a song at the end with God in it. I miss the 90's so much it makes me want to cry. I was never bored and times were so good.

I was about to post the same thing. I noticed that you don't hear interludes or intros or songs like you said dedicated to God on R&B albums much.....not sure why. I love when artist did that you have to give thanks to the man upstairs.

whats your point? Funk music is almost nothing but synthesizers and it still has a lot of soul. besides my point wasn't that there weren't black pop singers or mainstream artist. my point is that if you name the top 5 black singers from the 90s or earlier and compare them two the top 5 black singers today you'll notice that todays artist are not really making soulful music, they are making pop music which, although catchy and entertaining, is by definition, soulless.

Woody really did shine on this song, he has such a fantastic voice. I wish they would’ve let him leaded more songs. Jazz‘s arrangement on the 2nd verse gave me so many chills and goosebumps. He has such a beautiful and unique voice. The breakdown that Sisqo had in this song was absolutely incredible. Sisqo killed that acappella arrangement at the end. R&B today is sorely missing this kind of emotional singing.
