@rmerrifield100 Thank you for your kindness. This comment means more. Cancer has touched all of us in some way. I personally appreciate you expressing from a place of humanity rather than football program❤
I said this 2 weeks ago, Julie Venables is the MVP of this 2024 season!!! This woman is literally fighting for her life, yet even in suffering she is unselfish in sharing her husband with us. This family as a whole has my support and respect. I've always been a BV fan stemming from his Clemson days (I was too young to pay attention during his earlier OU days as DC). I absolutely honor his ability to endure hardness as a good soldier. I pray our fan base rallies around with nothing, but love, joy and overwhelming #SOONER support for this man and this team. BV is human none of us has achieved perfection in any area. Sooner Nation has got to treat our own better! Especially now, Team Venables is in a season of suffering...again🥺 #CancerStillSucks #BOOMER💣 #JV is the #MVP💗 Team Venables is #SOONERNATION 💯
I think the five starting WR's maybe not all but I think some may have tanked the season not trying to play people get injured but most don't stay hurt for 8 to 10 games of the season, so good riddons don't let the door hit you on the way out!!! GO BOOMER SOONER
Give him a break! His wife is battling cancer, he is on the phone with scouts, school officials, and trying to get our team ready for a Bowl game. Good grief!!
As a Longhorn I feel terrible for Brent Venables. He has the weight of the world on his shoulders. Prayers from Austin.

Regardless of how Venables’ team performs, I love this guy and he’s Man of God.
Coach Brent Venables has my respect as a Sooner fan! Venables loves OU 150% and gives it his all. You can't ask anymore of a person!
Never thought I’d hear any UT fan would say something that good for coach BV. APPRECIATE IT
Norman high early 70s?

God bless Coach Venables and his family! This man has true Integrity and loves what he does and the University of Oklahoma!

We will not be down for long. Boomer. Sec will see OU back to full form hopefully sooner than later.
If you’re not on all an American team we won’t miss you.
Did not know that about his wife.
That’s BS that’s not modern football at a big problem 23 portals ain’t normal something is going on in Norman …
It is normal look at LSU all teams have to cut not as bad as people think get ready to see more not a big deal
To be honest, he looks defeated. Boomer!
