The new songs are like a "modern" Blackfield. I like it, because I can return to the old records and enjoy them and now I can appreciate the new ways and elements of the project!

I now listened to this song in x0.75 speed as Mirco Marinelli suggested in a comment and it really feels sooo much more like Blackfield I am blown away! I lost all hope for this album after Summer’s gone but gave this song a chance and I just hope that the rest of this album will be more like this 👍

For me this song are better than Summer's Gone, Personal Shopper and Eminent Sleaze, its a real quality pop song.
If you change the bass and drums lines and also slow down the voice, you will get a song from before, a sad and beautiful song.

Personal Shopper was particularly bad one for me. He got Elton Fucking John to recite a shopping list. I really don't get it, it was such a waste of an opportunity.

La verdad, cuando el álbum recién salió no me gustó para nada, puesto que esto, ya no era rock, o por lo menos no el rock al que Blackfield nos tenía acostumbrados, pero con el tiempo le he agarrado cariño al álbum la verdad, en especial a esta canción que es hermosísima, finalmente lo comprendí, quizás, Blackfield a veces se pueda alejar del rock que hizo en álbumes anteriores, pero, sin embargo, la calidad siempre la va a tener.

Sounds like the same template used for Steve Wilson's Permanating.
I like the song but I wish it had real drums. Tomer Z adds so much feel to this band, it's a shame to not use him and instead go with a lifeless pop beat. I know Aviv tried to make an accessible album, and right now rock isn't selling. But to me it isn't staying true to the Blackfield sound we got for 5 albums. Even the poppiest album (IV) was a rock album at heart. Sorry, but I need Blackfield to rock. Maybe other songs are different, I will still buy it.
EDIT: It could be that Tomer is actually playing on this, and it's just the production that is sucking the life out of his playing. I can't really tell since the drums are so buried in the mix and processed, but either way it's not a good thing.
Great song, way better then the first single. Mix/mastering are weird, though.
I really like the new modern stuff, but that Blackfield V progressive sound is unbeatable.
Steven Wilson is in a POP vibe. Progressive Rock is an afterthought. He will get back to That vibe in a decade or so. New SW album seems 80's not fun stuff. The preaching is fine. The music is not so fun but has lots of good moments.

I don't like this kind of production where the music is over-compressed. The last album was ear-friendly and I loved it, but I fear this one is not going the sane way. Trying to make soup pop and hope to get aired on supermarkets? Good luck. The future might bite, but I will not get hooked.

I enjoy Blackfield, but I really hate it when Aviv takes the helm lyrically. the man is a terrible lyricist, and doesn't know how to write a song about anything except a failed romance. It undercuts my enjoyment of their music significantly; especially when compared to the lyrical Genius of Steven Wilson.

Pretty much every Blackfield song is written by Aviv. If Steven is also credited then that generally just means he cleaned up Aviv’s English. To me it sounds like you’re just assuming that all the good lyrics are from Steven and the bad ones are from Aviv, which simply isn’t true. Aviv does just about all of them, whether they’re good or bad.
