Yes we tried different eqs. You can also eq the bose. This wasn't me trying to push one or the other. I do own both. I'm it's no paid promotion. Just ny opinion. We use Everse as a monitor speaker for bass on floor, and bose for the crisp highs for guitar and vocal
And this is the full hour-long version of the Everse 8 street perfomance video in the city. Live vocals plus backing tracks, more different songs. More different angles. ua-cam.com/video/ZH0lRGB3YUk/v-deo.htmlsi=RupLdcipgKUdUG8p
And Everse 8 with guitar and vocals, in another place of the city and another performance ua-cam.com/video/uJeYJNi0bb8/v-deo.html I created a playlist on my channel. Electro-Voice Everse 8 professional battery-powered PA speaker system (home and outdoor tests, sound comparison): ua-cam.com/play/PLbj7PzWDzGJX8d-fvcsuldKeyUDtbiFrV.html Various amateur tests and comparisons with other amplifiers for street musicians, including Roland Cube Street EX, Jbl Eon One Comact. I didn't have the Bose S1 pro.
The Bose system is much more simple, each Channel has a button , once you press it you can adjust volume, press again for bass, press again for mids and so on, then you just turn the knob to adjust for the level. The Everse had a different system , more of a number slider, so difficult to match exactly
Thanks for the video, happy to find another great channel locally from Australia. One question, have you noticed the hiss sound when the speakers connected to inputs but not projecting any sound? I'm having a Bose S1 Pro and hate the hiss sound when connected it with my keyboard.
The EV provides much more flexibility to shape the sound. The Bose is set to please straight out of the box. That’s one of the reasons why it’s being so popular. That said I’d much prefer to have a speaker with flexibility, and headroom which the Ev has.
Andrew I think in the case of each speaker it's totally up to each individual with each purpose. I think the EV has much better bass response than the Bose. My video was just to show both side by side, I do personally take bose as my preference but that's just for my own personal use applications of the product
Hi! Recently, such a video was released - Bose S1 Pro Plus vs Everse 8 and Everse 12: a comparison of sounds in music of different genres ua-cam.com/video/b5neo3uvwE0/v-deo.html Who thinks what? Which one will sound better on any music?
Best way is to go try them yourself in the shop! Both great amps for different reasons. I just personally prefer the bose. For me the wireless units really does it for me
Sorry, seems like you still did not see what I meant. You can’t properly assess a speaker’s sound quality if you are behind the speaker you are assessing. You have to face the speaker at a certain distance to truly hear its full spectrum and have proper exposure to its sound.
I don’t understand why you would record audio from behind a speaker. You can also fully eq the everse to sound the way you want.

I think the Bose has some amp emulation going on, I think you need a modeller in front of the EV mate 👍
I prefer the Bose based on what I heard here. Thanks for the review.
Thanks for watching!

Looks like the s1 sound with more reverb. Were the speakes equalised the same way?

have you tried a different cable? or s this with the wireless transmitter, it also could be interference coming from the keyboard.

You’re using different sound sources, which immediately muddies any useful comparisons
Excellent Review, thank you

I've watched several videos and Everse 8 seems superior to me.

Bose is the winner for me.... But for busking, 3 piece band, I would buy two Bose S1 pros, and 1 Everse for the bass or upright bass ..
Bose sounds more musical than Everse. I hear more details from Bose
Finally!!!!
Bruh, who does a sound test from behind the speaker??
I had two microphones, one micing up the front (the audio is for you ). And I had a mic for my speaking.

I buy 2 s1 and the sub not loud enough to cover 100 people. Made in china & the cheapest speakers u can buy in china
everse 8 all the way
Ev 8 sounds muffled
