  • Mudding in my brand new 2011 Chevy Silverado Z71 4x4. It only had around 2500 miles on it at the time of this video. Nothing hard core about it. The truck is 100% stock.

    I love chevy! and i will to the day i die. I have an older model though its a 02 Z71 on a 6" lift with 35 bfg mud terrains km2 that truck has been through more than i thought it could. To this day it surprises me, I went to a mud bog and was going through mud where others were on tractor tires and i was just on 35's. It was so amazing but chevy all the way!

    The 100,000 mile / 7 year warranty is nice, but if your luck is anything like mine something would break at 100,001 miles. Haha nice truck!

    Gm is only 5yr/100k but you have to be careful a lot of dealers are starting not to cover component failure due to "abuse". GM has been calling back a lot of warranty parts and kicking back claims causing dealers to have to be tread lightly.

    I have the same exact truck, but it's a 1997 :). That sunoffabitch surprised me with those crap tires. The 4x4 system is impressive. Is it limited slip front and rear? Looked like some kind of variable clutch lockers. That's way more high tech than my old silverado...

      It's not even close to the same truck if it's a 97. That would be like someone saying, "I have the same exact truck but, it's a Ford." If it was an 07 then yeah.

      206,000 miles on my 2010... most fun I had in it was bashing through 4 ft snow drifts and drifting around on a frozen lake in -20°F. That would've been an awesome UA-cam vid dangit. Put a little crack in the plastic trim on my front bumper but that's just battle scars. Given her some nice beat downs I tell ya and she's still going strong.

    a few mud puddles isnt hurting shit,and these trucks have a 100,000 mile/7 year power train warranty on them. so if something breaks its covered. if he had better tires on it he wouldnt be revving it so high....i got a 2011 chevy z71 myself there great trucks. id rather beat the hell out of a new truck covered under warranty then a older truck thats not covered......to each his own tho......keep on 4wheeling man!

      Actually we just went out and bought our 2nd Silverado. We had a Red one got a gray one. We do our mudding in our ATVs.

    • @locogtr6475
      @locogtr6475 9 років тому

      Diane johnson great, so you have 2 trucks you don't use. I assume you dread trails as it would seem too destructive for them

    • @fromtheright
      @fromtheright 9 років тому

      Lol You are so funny. I traded the old Chevy truck in for a newer one. The old chevy was a 2003 with almost 200,000 miles on it. We live in the woods in northern MN.
