Perhaps they're referring to the standard of their drivers by suggesting you're unsafe on a pavement. Maybe the owner of the car parked fully on the pavement works there too.

There's no risk standing on the footpath, apart from if the vehicle driver is driving without due care and attention. They really should stop trying to enforce traffic safety to members of the public when it is not needed, and maybe enforce some advice to the pavement parking that may cause a danger to members of the public, causing them to step into the roadway, into the path of those dangerous vehicles !!
Great Audit DJ… You blew management apart, very calm & excellent communication skills… If you ever turn up in my work, your welcome in!!! Best Wishes Neil 🏴
Great video. Admitting that the public are in danger on the public pavement is admitting they are responsible before any accident or incident takes place. The calibre of drivers must be well below average in that case. Didn't notice if the little towing vehicle or trailer had number plates as are legally required to use the public road. At the same time wouldn't the insurance be void if the vehicle was not fit legally for the road.????? Petty deserves to be replied with requirement to be legally petty.
Great audit. I got the distinct impression that DJ wasn't in the mood for small talk with this one - especially at 15:30 and 20:55 😆. Great work DJ - fantastic footage - well done 👍

If I was ever spoken to by an employee I would walk in and demand the management, tell them I was recording on the public footpath out of public interest, but now im recording for my safety and to see how you deal with employees who enter the public then tell the public to leave. management well wet themselves hearing that.
It's so nice Webasto have staff dedicated to public road safety, they pay multiple members of staff to stand out there for our benefit. The dedication to road safety is amazing 🤡🤡🤡
Their statement that you are unsafe on the pathway is a serious admission that their drivers are incompetent and regularly drive on the public paths and not on the road. Serious retraining and testing needs to be carried out asap. David did a dummy spit because he didn’t get his way🤔😅😂🤣 I half expected him to throw himself on the ground and thrash around.😂😈.
That little vehicle towing the trailer is illegal. It has to be fully road registered and insured to drive in any public place, it hasn't even got a number plate so is 100% committing a road traffic offence.
And many of them do not realise the public are aware of the law too. Many years ago many companies used to film their companies and what they did with a tour and put it on youtube themselves
I've worked in places with different coloured hi-viz jackets, and they tended to be colour coded to that person's responsibilities. Yellow for normal staff, green for first-aid, purple for foremen or supervisors and black for a manager. The reason I saw was that in a factory or warehouse with multiple (hundreds) people, you could quickly make out who you needed; and it did work. The only other thing was that the fluorescent strips had to be on the outside as if the lights failed (even on a bright summer's day), you were still visible to vehicles (reflection) etc. You could get a warning if you put the vest on with the fluorescent strips on the inside and not visible! It's the first time I've even seen it on the HSE website. If you were in any danger on a publicly accessible piece of land, no matter who owns it, someone somewhere should have risk accessed it, and would themselves be accountable for any accident or injury on it; not you. The general public should be classed as stupid and unaware of any risk or injury, so there should be NO risk.
Great Educational Audit and interesting insight to company. Staff totally out of there depth but least they didnt threaten you with the Police lol. Keep up the great work DJ
If I was buying/leasing a commercial property I would definitely be aware of the PUBLIC footpaths...get off our land...well it's a public footpath/right of way ! It always surprises me just how close members of the public can get to business premises quite legally on a footpath ! But if you can stand on a public footpath/right of way and see into a business, people working/processes and it computer screens then that's a BIG problem !! Guy at the end just made himself and the business look silly 🥱
