Greetings ✨ from Florida 🐬 I always admired him ✨ but never knew All ✨ that You ✨ Shared ! Very very interesting indeed, makes me admire His ✨ character evermore 🌈
His turn as _Ebenezer Scrooge_ in the 1970 musical _'Scrooge'_ has been an annual watch for me since I was a kid in the 70's, scouring the TV Guide each Christmas season.¹ Then in the 80's I managed to record it. Then came purchasing the VHS, followed most recently by a digital download. Not sure why I bothered to include that, but it does illustrate somewhat my admiration for the film. ··•●✺●•·· ¹ ─ It also stars *Alec Guiness* as _Marley's_ ghost.
@@kennethwayne6857 _"…they would cut the hell out of it…literally."_ 😱 No wonder I didn't remember those lengthy hell scenes! Once I finally had an official recording, I found myself confused by all that extra footage.
I have “Scrooge” on VHS 📼 and DVD 📀 it’s one of my favorite Christmas Carol adaptations and one of my all time favorite movie musicals. The songs are great with “Thank You Very Much” being the best and my favorite song in the film and that scene during the ghost of Christmas yet to come scene is my favorite scene in the film. Albert Finney gave a great performance as Ebenezer Scrooge and Ronald Neame did a great job Turing Charles Dickens’s Christmas Classic into a movie musical. The performances from the rest of the cast are good with Dame Edith Evans, Sir Kenneth More and Michael Medwin being standouts

You're definitely not alone. I remember when they showed the film on television during the 80's they would cut the hell out of it. Literally.

I bet he was against the British monarchy and advocated his government being modernized.

Finney's character was not in a romantic relationship with Brockovich.
