OMGOSH YES I JUST SAW THEM LAST NIGHT THAT WERE FREAKING FANTASTIC I ALMOST DIED HOLY CRAP those guys are amazing live so if anybody wants to go they definitely should. Yes go to to or you will regret it that band is the best.
The song discusses the futility of trying to chase after nostalgic interests or to keep everything you like the same. You can “chase down” the past but ultimately things will end up changing. Even you, yourself will end up different so your best bet is just accepting change and learning to live with it.

Comments under this video say "Abigail, oh baby girl". UA-cam Music's lyrics say "Abigail, play Miguel". I hear "Abigail, oh baby 'gail". I'm confused which it is.
I know this song isn’t about being trans, but honestly it’s an anthem to me. Mainly because a lot of the nostalgia message speaks to me in the way that things aren’t the same, and old memories lose their relevance as time goes on. Especially with family. My family keeps chasing the old me, when I’ve grown and my identity has grown with me. Changing. Everything is always changing, and nostalgia will always exist in every part of everyone. We all have to acknowledge that things will never be the same, but we’re allowed to cherish those old memories.
Wait is it me or is this song about transidentity ? With the name change, the family who doesn't understand... That's... That's so cool ! My aro heart was happy after The Knack but the trans folks' one must be thrilled !
