Welcome to rust, was building a base 2-3blocks away from some russians, they kept roofcamping me and sniping, i finally finished it, they decided to sneak on me during the night killed all 3 of them, they still didn’t stop, I took some runs and made some rockets and ruined their whole rust vibe

Watching you play Rust taught me to survive in the wilderness. I’ve single handedly been in my backyard for three months. Grubbing my neighbors when they take in groceries, Salvaging scrap from local gas stations, Door camping. Thank you willjum, thank you 🙏🏾

A group of 5 fully geared players....offline raiding a base with keylocks... this is exactly what pvp rust has become on every server any more. Mad kudos to you for attempting to defend Willjum. I play vicariously through you. I've given up on Rust because of groups like this. It's nice to see you maintain such positivity through the process. That in itself is more than I could have ever done.
Spending the holidays homeless, sleeping in my car...these videos have managed to bring me joy and helps kill the time. Thank you Willjum for always sticking to your content and having fun with the videos you push out. Happy holidays everyone.

It’s actually so hard to explain the feeling these videos give, I don’t play rust myself but these videos really just makes one feel so relaxed and that maybe everything isn’t so bad. Big up wiljum, I don’t know what drugs you put in these videos but do continue!

That was overdose for a raid base with 3 turrets, compound walls, and from a 5 man attempting to offline a solo. That one guy, adkm was tanking all those HE grenades and hand grenades. Great Video, your always entertaining.

Imagine a huge raid base and 2 turrets for an offline, jeez unlucky WillyJ base was looking good!
Plus like 20 or so rockets were use and nothing against WilyJ but he was far from being loaded.

You know it would be interesting to see a base that employs a bunch of building techniques. A bunker, the small wall gap for the TC, double stacked floors, one way peeks, hidden loot rooms, etc. All of those in one base build.
That would make for a great video!

You should check out @Asylum_Rust His bases are pretty much just that. Pixel gapped TC & Hidden boxes, floor stacked and bunkered to the point of no door paths and more, it's pretty wild. Been practicing them on build servers for abit so i'll probably give em a go next wipe

The use of a modified Subwoofer Lullaby at 1:05:00ish is why i love these videos, expert gameplay of a traditionally stressful and harsh game that ive never played, contrasted with the calming demeanor of the commentary. Brilliant.

For me as a non-Rust player I really like the way many of you Rust-UA-camrs tell your stories.
When thinking about it I don't know another game that has that much good creators.
I stick to Willjum because of the chilled vibes but one thing really makes me crazy.
Could you please, please with a cherry on top put the name of the songs in the video description?
This would make it so much easier to find all those ear worms.
The Minecraft remix one was so good. Also welyn is another great creator who does stuff similar to Willjum, but it’s not just rust.

i just love how willjum has the best music queues of all time. you hear that music buildup and you know its about to get LIT. unless it gets upbeat and then when he dies and gives up it just drops.. BUT NONE THE LESS AMAZING.

I used to not relate to people who say stuff on videos like this like "These videos are my comfort place", "I fall asleep to these everynight", and "These videos provide an escape for me". But now things have gotten hard. Loosing who I thought was the love of my life for the past four years soon. I've been so hopeless for the future and scared of the passage of time. But now I watch these everynight and sometimes play rust with the music from these videos in the background. It really is a very nice escape, and helps me to fall asleep and focus on something else.

Im happy to show it to ya or link some helpful videos on it, if you think its worth looking into. Its easy enough that you can find a way to incorporate it into just about any design without having to build around it. Love your work ❤

Just a quick note wiljum raiders CAN shoot through that TC gap. Gamelightz has done a similar base design using the exact pixel gap. (haven't watched full vid yet) but you can side grad the top and bottom (one sheet metal one storage container skin) and it will close the gap

Yo this is one of your best. Most of the videos are buildupbuildupbuildup hard & deep bunkers but never challenged. This one highlights what's really going on in Rust. If you were duo+ with great farming, the more fancy fucker setup may have worked out, but a 5man getting to you before you became a well-rooted thorn is definitely some other players accomplishing *their* plans instead of you executing yours top to bottom as usual. Good spice to your playlist, and consistent good sportsmanship :)

Willjum, love the vids. If you use this base design again I recommend that how you hid the TC and refinery in gaps to run conveyor systems threw the gaps along with one just for hidden storage.

Willjum my bru we've all got the drip. it's perfect for starting in the desert. Thanks for posting a real ass solo vid, being surrounded by groups really is the experience. Makes me want to run a wipe so I can post my new refinery base, just need the motivation. Once you have industrial crafters, the best use is to drop your t1 for pistol bullets and t2 for meds like you had set up.
