You ain't just whistlin' Dixie. I forgot how good my voice used to be- I'm almost creepin' myself out now that I have it back... it took a miserably long time and a lot of work to do it. Yeah, they were a bunch of assholes- and I am stubborn- but only about the things that matter. The dumbasses have barely spoken to me in over seven years, and they think they can still tempt me with the same old shit- but getting hit by a truck and surviving the end-stage liver failure that caused, only to have your wife die in your arms just as you're beginning to recover sort of changes a fella's perspective.
That sure sounds life-changing 😬 but also sounds like you've got a stable head on your shoulders and can tackle the tough stuff even if it takes time. Great work on all the healing ✌
