@@jmrbuilds I just crossed the 200 mile mark on my rocket and I was leaving physical therapy and I started getting a loud rattling noise from my muffler, I got home and noticed that the tube that comes off the exhaust that has a black canister on the end (think it's pressure release) was tied around the frame and pinched off. Do you think that could have caused too much pressure to the muffler and it broke loose the baffle. I'm a construction worker not a mechanic lol. It idles just fine but when I give it gas the muffler rattles really loud, the motor hasn't lost any power and I also tightened everything on the bike. Hope you can help me out bud because the company I bought it from won't return my calls or emails.
@@vladimpaler9274 the black little canister or cylinder you are talking about is more like a filter that helps pass the environment regulations USA has when exporting motorcycles from other countries, one thing I noticed with the Rocket is that the vibrations are very high when you are riding the scooter, and there is nothing that you can do to lower the vibration because since the scooter is a single cylinder engine the crankshaft is not balanced and that's where the vibration comes from , when is something like a V twin cylinder the bikes run more smoothly that being said I think the baffle broke because the vibration of the engine, have you check the clamps that holds the muffler into place ? Did you check the bolts that holds the exhaust pipe to the engine ?
Are they loose?
In case any of those bolts are loose that will most likely the reasons why the baffle broke off
@@jmrbuilds Everything is tightened really good, I had absolutely no noises from this thing until I left therapy! I'm pretty sure the baffle broke loose in the muffler. Thanks for replying back bud 👍
@@vladimpaler9274 sometimes the quality of the Chinese muffler are not the best, I'm sorry for what happened to you , if you go to AliExpress.com the parts for the scooter are really cheap but it takes like a month to get delivered!

Hey James thanks alot for checking up on me , I'm doing good I was just working for the past 3 weeks out of town but I finally got home today, I already have the valves, hopefully I'll get to work on the bike soon and I will upload a video sometime next week

Where can I find front shock absorber for that bike mine are done and can't find the original shocks but better brand on any site.

Some time ago I was looking for new shocks too but I didn't have any luck finding them , the only shocks that would fit are the ones for the honda grom but they are like around 200 to 300 dollars wich are a little bit expensive in my opinion
@@jmrbuilds haven't found yet but if honda grom are only fit no matter the cost i have to get lol but not lol
I have a similar bike but a 50cc where can I find the engine mount like yours to swap in a 150cc?
