Yes she can sing, but she needs to work on staying in her range and pitch. Nicci is more of an alto/second soprano (on a good day). And what in the world happen to the one in the middle (the original)????? VERY PITCHY!! Still love them.
I have a theory that the poor food quality in usa messed up these voices. Early 90s everyone had crazy resonance and could hit any note with ease. By late 90s and 2000s same voices and newer voices struggled. I did learn that the fake food is weakening the voice and out bodies.

Nikki always had a strong loud voice from the beginning regardless. The other voices were always lighter. I doubt she needed to turn up the mix to be heard. People still arguing patti labellle turns up her mic its laughable especially if you heard her sing live.
