Simon is right. Wilder's behaviour was really really poor.

Wilder was a proper slink at Boro, it fell to bits quite quickly. He didnt put the burnley speculation to bed at all and only had one way of playing. He shot the players under the bus after every defeat, i remember once he said 7 individual mistakes led to a goal conceded. At what point does the person in charge take some responsibility. I think he looks after number one and our club was toxic in the end and a lot was due to how he conducted himself.

  • @danlar1312

As soon as Burnley come sniffing he'll want out, snake.

  • @allydign2749

Have I been in a coma for the last 3 years, or have we all forgotten his last months at Sheff Utd, then stints at Boro and Watford? Am I missing something here?

  • @anthonybeaumont7740

Did the same with Middlesbrough will try jump ship as soon Burnley job comes up again.

  • @purehyperbole5727

Shame to see Wilder back in the Premier League. The ego has landed. Everyone's fault but his, kinda guy.

  • @jackdominiak445

So Wilder fell out with this owner because of the lack of investment, slagged him off publicly and now he's coming back to work for the same owner with even less money to invest....is this for real ? 🤣

  • @paulthomas3241

I am a Blade, so disappointed we are re appointing him after he wanted out when the going got tough

  • @TheAlphaDingo

I'd love Shef Utd (and even Wednesday) to do well, proper fans unlike the plastics that infest the league - that being said, I can't see how bringing a man back with so much baggage and mixed history with the owner will turn things around. For their sake, I'll hope for the best but fear the worst...

  • @edwardkelly3280

I can’t see it ending well

  • @ArtSurroundsYouAll

I have been a Blade (Sheff Utd) fan for 48 years I have seen the best years and the worst. I never wanted Heckingbottom as manager in the first place, but I gave him a chance and he got us up, so fair play, but it has been awful this season, he is clearly out of his depth and I wanted him gone after the Newcastle game and I made that clear in the fan groups etc. I also said as much I will never forget what Chris Wilder did for us, he gave us some of the best years, but I can't forgive on the way he walked out on us because he threw his toys out over the owner taking the purse strings away from him. Wilder bought some poor players and the owner realised they were bad signings, the defeats we got in the Premier League Wilder blamed everyone else, that I do not like. I do not want Wilder back and its because of one good reason ' What has he done since', he has been sacked from Middlesbrough, he was released from Watford. The fans have to take sentimentality out of it. How many times have we seen managers return to the club they once managed, it never ends well. We can't attract world class managers I accept that, but if we appoint Wilder we are going backwards, I hope I am wrong, plus there is no word as of yet that he is coming back, there are other managers out there, but please we don't want a merry go round manager or an inexperienced manager, its going to be hard, but one thing Sheff Utd do is they make the same mistakes over and over!!..we used to be a club that every team hated playing against because it was always a tough game, Bramall Lane was a fortress, we need that back, give us our club back and the owner if your going to sell then do so please we need an owner with ambition.

  • @PhonyMontanaAI

Has there ever been a man that is in love with the sound of his own voice than Simon Jordan. And those glasses. Who the hell is he trying to be?! 😂😂😂

  • @agiugabenson7268

If Wilder fell out with the owner and it’s still the same owner why would he be taken back if the fallout was so bad?

  • @peterianstaker5386

I’m a blade and I agree with Simon. He did act like a baby at the end last time and looked to blame everyone but himself. It actually was quite upsetting because I love Wilder but I wasn’t having his criticism of the chairman. Hopefully he’s learnt from it. Our fans still dig the chairman out now and I don’t get it. We were struggling in league one when he got involved. If Mcabe had remained we’d have carried on selling players for peanuts and had zero success over last few years. It’s amazing how quickly a little bit of success makes fans entitled and how every bad run is blown way out of proportion and that is at all clubs. A few years back there was city fans calling for Peps head because they lost a champions league final. Probably a minority but you get my point.

  • @maxwellgrimes3704

Tutting himself about while in the Boro job was despicable

  • @marklittlewood2919

Well said simon jordan..ive been following the blades over 40 years and did not want to see wilder back in charge ..never a premier league manager in a million years

  • @michael7286

The Chris Wilder appointment seems to be causing as much controversy as a VAR decision.

  • @garyjohnson3751

Northern people are soo funny bless em

  • @michaelhall4095

I think Simon is right- the end was not pretty. And I think Wilder was right- he stood up against an owner who has proved to be pretty questionable to say the least. Wilder was correct to disagree with the owner’s plan and insist on more- that’s where Heckingbottom has been weakest. Wilder knows what’s best for his/our club. We’ve got almost an entire squad out of contract at the end of the season, and last year had a transfer embargo. Someone needs to look after us, because our owner isn’t doing it properly. The owner is playing the Glazer game- “I want to sell”, then turns out it was all a bit half-hearted and he wants to retain a level of investment.

  • @harrydrake4173

Sheff Utd shouldn't have been promoted in the first place after breaching EFL regulations, but the EFL were happy for them to go up so they didn't have to deal with it.
