thank you!. my second time watching this video. the first time was when i was in MD1 or TRI 1 and now its when im studying fr USMLE... Absolutely understand. thank you!
It was very good explanation, but around 1:47 you show an image of the chamber pressures during systole and diastole which are mixed up. The Right ventricle must relax (diastole) in order to allow blood from the right atrium ( in doing so, the RV pressure must be equal to the RA pressure during Diastole not Systole as shown in the image). Other than that, I find it very helpful for all students. Thank you.
So, an increase in preload during inspiration will cause decreased of left ventricular volume and eventually decrease CO and BP? Is this understanding correct?
Great explanation I think the hang up for me was the actual term paradoxus. To me that meant the opposite effect of normal. When in reality it's just an exaggerated effects compared to normal
i don't think thank you is enough, i have been struggling with this concept for more than a year and less than 4 minutes you made me master it
I have been looking for a thorough explanation for weeks.....you literally answered the most important questions. THANK YOU.
i don't get why no one could explain pulsus paradoxus to me this clearly and simply before...

That's the thing, we need to be taught in a way we can understand!
