Is this the same process with the larger Golden Age Project UniteBig rack that they sell for their Comp 2a and Comp 3a? Is it necessary to rack them? I can't find any info on how to rack them and if that tray is needed.
Thank you Tonebone, for the excellent post. I just purchased two GAP EQ-81 MK3 units and I like them much. I got two as Warehouse Resealed at a great price and they both work well with neither having scratches and dents. I just purchased a GAP Unite Rack kit for home studio for my two GAP EQ-81 MK3's and I ran across your video. I will be referring to this great video you shared with us when they arrive to my home studio.
Appreciate you posting this, I'm going to order one now. For me, it will be a EQ-73, a Pre-73 Jr., and a PS AC, the latter two being 1/4 width components, but they all add up to a full tray of gear.
Thank you for this guiding video, I got 2 Unity Big's for 2 LA3's, 2 EQ73's and 2 EQ 81's. The red and black are in 1 rack but that doesn't matter to me. Setting up and ready to test. I also bought a PS AC for the eq's, maybe another one for the LA"'s. I see you got some other GAP gear, you like the sound and quality? this is my first GAP, and there are other things to look at
I wonder if this would work for Rockman modules? It looks like there are a few more holes underneath than are used by the golden age gear. Would be cool if they happened to line up to the bottom attach points for the Rockmodules. I like the red.
The new Golden Age PRE-73 DLX PREMIER sounds better to me. I'm choosing between that or saving a bit more and grabbing the BAE 1073MPF personally. I'd also take the HA73 over the WA73. I sold my WA73EQ a few years ago.
@@v3zMedia I mean the only other option now for plugins is the plugin alliance 80 1073 emulator with TMT technology emulation that thing sounds like hardware. for $29 its a steal. Extremely good way better than sheps and on par with wa73
Thank you so much. I purchase the Comp 2A and had the most problems with 3 pieces😂
Very well done! I've been looking assembly help with this. Thank You!

Thanks for the video. Mine just arrived today.
Awesome! Which 2 units are you putting in yours?
Thank you muchacho, helped me out a lot!
Glad I could help!
Does anyone know if their racks are proprietary? ie are their screws in REALLY specific places so I can't just buy any random rack shelf?
Great video. Thank you!
Thanks!
Are these units good for mastering or should I go with warm audio
Thanks Tony!
Thanks!! Indeed a shame that comes without instructions....
Where can i buy those screws?
Did you ever find an answer on this?
Thank you!!
what are the dimensions of the screws ?
THANKS
Thank you. I was just about to assemble 3 of those and I couldn't find any instructions...lol
if all you can afford is $400 at a time then this is a great option but id just save up $800 and get the warm 73
