Ha! I wish I would have had this demo 40 years ago - that manual with Japanese grammar was impossible. I used to use the trigger out to advance the JX-3P sequencer, so need to program rests. 🤔
I’ve had a beat up one of these sitting around for years and could never understand how I couldn’t intuitively understand it. So finally, today, was determined to learn. Found your video. Thank you. Unfortunately, I discovered why I could never get going. The friggin pattern clear button does not work. All other functions seem to work but I can’t write or erase. So, I suppose that I can use it with what it has programmed already and adjust the tempo and volumes of the instruments and the last step. So, yeah, back in bin : |. Unless, anyone have any suggestions?

Hi Matthew - that would be a problem - probably not too hard to fix though - have you look for a new button (Syntaur?)
