People in NYC seem perplexed as to where this duck came from, but being a migratory species it could easily have gone north from here in Florida. There are lot's of them here and many people own them. Down here they are listed as a mildly invasive species. You can even buy them. This little guy probably escaped from a zoo or private owner from down this way and decided to visit the Big Apple.
It is true that he's like a Picasso painting that came to life.
They don't call him the Hot Duck for nothing.
