Okay, this may sound weird, but I prefer the Atari version from 0:01 to 0:28 over the C64, but after that, the C64 is superior. I don't know, just something about how the intro for the C64 sounds more 'messy' to me, but after, it sounds pretty good
Also, for the 800XL, you would be hard pressed to find better music. Atari wouldn't be making good sound hardware until they released the Atari ST, imo

People go on about the C64 version being better, but bare in mind that this is playing on a sound chip that is over 3 years older than the C64.
This isn't bad given the limitations. Not as good as others I'll admit but at least it beats the 48K Spectrum version.
kewl music, distinc from the other platforms (as with JSW). pitch isn't accurate, but thos makes this tune just more interesting :).
I remember lol
Yeah but the 48K Speccy version is awful..WORSE than this. 128K version is suberb, but the 48K version is dreadful.
all games made by datasoft sounded like this. crap. shoudve been redone by someone:)
Way, way too slow, and crappily made. This is far below the POKEY chip's capabilities.
check the c64 version of the music by the mighty martin galway.. FAAaaaaaaaaaaar better =)
My ears they bleed! Please listen to the c64 version if you want to hear a better rendition. Wow this is rough. ACK!!!
