Bush operators in northern Canada have about 25ft of heater hoses with quick disconnects on the end!!! They start thier pickups in the morning that are plugged in, then drive to the work site. They then plug the heater hoses into their equipment and let it circulate for 5 to 10 minutes while having coffee in a warm truck. Equipment engine is by that time warm and fires right up, not hard on the engine at all!!!
I didn't see any minus 70 degree weather in any of these clips. I've started engines at minus 42C and it's extremely difficult. You need to dress very, very warmly of course. No-one here was. I doubt we were seeing anything colder than about minus 25C.
Be extremely careful with ether. Ether breaks piston rings and the resulting compression loss creates what we call in the business 'ether whores'. I never use the stuff; I've seen too much expensive damage.
... 1) These vehicles do not have batteries. They are directly connected to the nearest power plant. 2) They do not have starter motors, but, rather, an 8-cylinder V turbo, electrically heated, thanks to the power plant just mentioned.
Nope, watched it twice and none of those vehicles were sitting in -70 temps. Frankly, i doubt if any were even below 0. Certainly won't subscribe to this bait and switch channel

If you’re in an area without electricity a pan of hot charcoal under the oil pan does wonders. And maybe a squirt of ether.

🙋♂️Ich glaube es ist extrem schwierig einen Ort zu finden der -70 grad hat , geschweige denn einen Diesel zu starten 😅😅😅
Grass in the background is little suspicious, minus what?
les batteries et le démarreur doivent avoir une bonne santé pour le groupe électrogène
