Could she be nicer? Yes. But, her job is to give direction, manage, and yes, even be critical at times. The next season, there were little to no issues on the interior which told me that the Bugsy, Brooke complainers of the previous two seasons were just sensitive and unaware of their roles.
I hate working with people like Hannah. They make you do their jobs then they walk around taking credit for what you’re doing. As if they’re so amazing and what would anyone do without them 🤦♀️
Only ever watched season 3 but man Hannah is exhausting, she's a terrible manager, was completely incompetent when it came to training Kasey and she is the centre of all the drama. It really shows that Brooke and Kasey excelled on th charter Hannah was stuck in her cabin with a panic attack.
Kate still does lower stews duties: sets up the dinner table, clean bathrooms, and turn over the beds Hannah is just lazy and taking advantage of the situation. This is the 3rd time someone has called her out for not helping the stews.

Hannah doesn't answer to Brooke, though. She also doesn't need to pretend to be working to make the lower stews feel better about what she is doing. While I understand Brooke's point, her and Bugsy wait until the end of their seasons to clarify their role- that's on them.

i agree with you. Go to sandy cause she already knows how much you do girl and how much her stew captain does. talking to Hannah she is going to defend herself and say she is doing everything. Instead she should just tell Brooke, hey look I understand and hear what you are saying and I will work with you more so you won't feel like you are taking the rut of everything. but its Hannah come on she does no wrong, wether it be work, relationships, being a boss and ext. I believe Andy the main boss of all reality TV shows will bring her back cause she is drama and she has everyone talking about her this season as well as last season and that is what counts. that girl knows what she is doing. I don't see any other crew members except for sandy back for another season. Hannah is always going to be on.
She did say a while ago and Watch What Happens live that now she only does this while she's filming below deck and does not do it any other time of the year where most of the other ones including Kate do it year-round and Kate also is a stewardess for private planes and so she's used to working those long hours. it does seem like Hannah is not pulling her weight this season and maybe she's doing work and they're just not showing it but from what I've seen I would be frustrated too
I used to have a lot of respect for both Hannah and Kate, but the more I watched them on Below Deck, the more I realized how much of a train wreck both of them are. They need to get themselves in order before trying to manage their staff. I am so glad both of them are gone off the show.
Brooke it is good you confronted Hannah about your concerns. Next time you confront anyone to have talk. You gotta lay out a list of things that actually happened that backs up your opinion and the point you are making. Talking softly and slow and taking forever to get to the point people get uninterested in what your concerns are. Hannah screws up time to time but is quick to be belittling and mean to other women who work with her.

She IS taking advantage of the other stewardesses by dumping all the work on them and taking credit for their work, taking smoke and nap breaks at all hours of the day and even screwing/ canoodling in the same room as her roommate.. inconsiderate and inappropriate! Capt Sandy called her out on her BS and she was right! I wouldn’t want anyone working for me who mistreats her staff and doesn’t take responsibility! Hannah outdoor never respond to a male capt this way!

Jmae - Hannah has been up front in Afterbuzz Interviews and on Bravo that she has issues with commitment in relationships. All of which is information she's been open about pre-Conrad. People who have suffered from an anxiety attack can experience fatigue. Which is clearly something she experienced. I bet being in a small area when she was experiencing the attack only increased her anxieties only made it more difficult for her to pass through them quickly.

Kate Chastain said it herself. 2nd Stews always do this. Chief stews have other responsibilities and their job is to delegate. Clearly Brooke and Kasey as well as Bugsy and Lauren the previous season have different ideas of what a chief stew is supposed to do. I do wish Hannah did not respond like this and actually said something along the lines of 'my duties are to delegate and make sure interior is run properly, I trust you both to do this job but if it's too much I'll step in' It irritates me to see how many people in the comments don't understand that in management you don't just do the equal amount of physical work as 2nd and 3rd stew. Provisioning is not a 20 minute job.
This season the crew seems to have it easier with the guests. They usually seem to go to bed after dinner. Other seasons they are up all might drinking and wanting food. Plus the Below Deck shows always seem to get a new stew who cannot do anything which makes more work for the others.

If you're in a lower rank, position then you tow the line, chain of command. If you feel your supervisor is being lazy, take it up with the Captain. In other words, suck it up buttercup.
I honestly wonder IF Hannah does any work unless she's forced to🤔 And I hate it because she's Australian and Australian's work HARD. We work hard so we can afford to pay for our ridiculously expensive rents, alcohol and cigarettes (not a joke).
