well, i meant in general (with all of his music), but ya. i think its definitely something that everyone should be thinking about. i'm so so happy that adam is bringing it up as it is among the many issues that the people of the younger generations have to work to fix. i just meant that he captured the idea soo well and i didn't know that that is exactly how i felt when learning about climate change (and so many other issues) until i listened to this song. if ur reading this, please work to fix this growing problem and some of the many ways that u can easily do this is to minimize waste, use less energy, and educate yourself as well as others. whatever you end up doing, i hope you have are staying safe and have beautiful day! : )
@arcelli chanda, yuussss!! It’s great that he’s producing this type of music too. Especially in times where we really need to put our shit together as humans.
i completely agree!! its scary that some people don't understand that this is a real thing, but it is even scarier that some people DO know that this is happening and refuse to not only not help the reform but actually worsen it. i am soooo happy that adam is using his platform to discuss this, its amazing!!
How did you manage to PERFECTLY capture my headspace in 2020?? From growing up and realising that the adults don't know what they're doing, to listening more to Black voices and learning about the extent of the world's injustice, to the guilt for pursuing an art career when there's so much in the world that needs fixing.. this is pure genius. Thank you.

This is close but I was messing around with this yesterday and I think there are few things incorrect. A lot of times (not sure if every time) he’s playing an F Major 7 right before he hits the F Minor. All that would be is a normal F Major chord with the high E open. I like to play it Hendrix style with my thumb wrapped around. Also I’m not sure if he ever actually does this but I think it sounds better in the chorus sometimes to play: C, Emaj7, Amin, Fmin. That’s just a preference thing though. Then in the verse it took me a while to figure out, but you’re missing a D minor chord in there. It goes: C F When there’s nothing to do F C and all day to do it Dmin If you don’t lose your kindness G F You’re likely to lose it Besides that you nailed it!
incredible, breathtaking, heartbreaking ..these lyrics!!!! i think i just got the “one of the reasons i’m grateful to breathe” reference 🥺 such an amazing song to remind us all to stop being complacent!!!! a masterpiece do you hear me
This song was about lockdown but I always imagine a post apocalyptic world when listening to this, and the boy and girl found a child that they have to lookafter

I guess I’ll be crying for the rest of the night
this song. oh my god. all the harmonies, especially in the bridge, are just perfect
