Hi pals, one for the apple crew this week: but what are your favourite iPad tips that I don't cover in the video? ↓ Productive iPad community baby! 🙌 Watch this next for a better iPad workflow: ua-cam.com/video/1TwVAQJ0X7A/v-deo.html
I agree, the Ipad is still best used as a notetaking machine. And some might say it's expensive if it's "just that". But if you use it every working day it's definitely worth the money.
Yeah totally - I’ve used it for 3 years as my notebook, planned / storyboarded three theatre shows with it and edited 55 UA-cam videos on it… so it’s paid for itself! Cheers
Guys just an ergonomics tip: Remember to put your most important apps/widgets at the bottom of your phone/iPad to make sure they’re within reach of your thumb. This will allow you to open those more easily as compared to if they were at the top.
Awesome video! Using my Ipad Air to FINALLY (try!) to go paperless. CANNOT do it without Goodnotes and Pencil 2. I have been very happy with my results 4 months into the process.
Goodnotes RULES. I love that app. I tried Notability as well to get some perspective, and i think I enjoy GN much more for it's minimalist look and function. I use mine mainly as a digital planner/ bullet journal set up. Very handy.
i have to use an ipad for school and it's honestly incredible--it definitely isn't very great for apps like docs, slides, sheets, etc. because those are just better on computers, but i love using my ipad for note taking, digital assignments, photoshop (not that i'm crazy into photoshop, i just do very basic things, but it's still great) and even when i'm using it like a second monitor (because my apple id is my school account and i can't sign into it on my personal devices i can't use sidecar, but i often use my laptop to pull up research or a slideshow, for example, and then i write in a document on my ipad)
I just bought an ipad for 1 weeks and switched over and over again between Books and Note and Translate app. Now i know it can work in multi app at the same time
Universal clipboard is one thing that I use almost daily and that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE. When I go to the office and I use a windows Pc and therefore I don’t have It I feel handicapped.

Thanks very much! The Icons are a combination of a set called 'Nox' that i found on Reddit (don't have the link) and the Mac Stories Shortcuts pack - www.macstories.net/pixel/shortcuts/ -The tripod stand is linked in the description. :) Thanks for watching!
Awesome video as always. I don’t see a link to the stand you used for your iPad. The one that lifts it up off the desk as a monitor. Might you have a link for that?
Thank you 4 sharing, most of the tipps I haven't heard before & I find them to be REALLY cool! Esp. 1 side 4 work/1side 4 fun, sharing without snyc & keyboard sharing too👍🏻👍🏻Do you know the minimum requirements of an ipad for using it with a bigger, external monitor? I am hearing different things: 'all ipads with usb-c', 'only with os16', 'all with M1' etc. Do you know what the minimum really is? Would appreciate to know🙋♀️Thanks up front & have a nice weekend

Great video mate! But how do you make the GoodNotes paper “infinite”, or just that you need to swipe down all the time? And not swipe to the left or right
I just say no need to buy the pro unless you know why you need it. The airs are super powerful now and plenty for most people. So expensive so save where you can! :)
Hy @BetterCreating! I love your videos! I have a problem with my new ipad air 5, I don't have any "Scribble" option in it. I also have a pencil (2nd gen.) Is it possible that there is no such function? :( Thank you very much for your answer!
For my life, I cannot get the floating menu to show when I select more than a word of handwriting, so 8 cannot convert to text effectively. This has me thinking of just using GoodNotes.
Haha! Not sure about sharing shortcuts - but it’s not too hard - watch my minimal iPad and minimal iPhone videos for how to do it - it’s not too hard once you know :)
I'm still torn on the iPad. My phone does almost everything I need at hand, and if I need to do more, I default to the laptop. The only thing the iPad does that the other devices can't do better is drawing with the pencil, but I'm not an artist, so that makes no sense for me. It just sits on my desk collecting dust.
Throughout the video we see three different iPad stands, but you only talk about one. There’s one that’s on the screen at 1:00, do you know where I could find that one?
I noticed that you're usinf Hyperdrive hub. Does the audio jack can be used for microphone as well? Use it for online meeting. Hope you can help. I've been searching the answer but no confident answer yet. Thanks !

Once I started using the iPad when first released, I found even my laptop like a ball and chain. I can do anything I need to do on a laptop on my iPad. I like the idea of the “sidecar” function that Apple has introduced, but I wish I can use a slightly older iPad as a keyboard and trackpad for my newer one. Being able to lift up the device as a virtual keyboard and type is so much more flexible and forgiving on the body than a physical keyboard and mouse. If you can pair with a MacOS device, why can’t you pair with another IOS device? I don’t get it. :-(
Yup! I did 3 years of my college with just an iPad (sometimes library computers for more intensive projects). It had basically no issues performing any basic tasks for my earlier college assignments.
