Doesn't really change much, because its just others have tried it or put the product on their hand (if their humane), so the actual product is clean. Also it would be worse to have designated sample ones, because they don't usually give them out, and if they had to use it from a specific one, it could expire (as makeup does), or be wasteful to be using such a small amount of a product, and have the whole bottle of the sample product be unusable.

I tried this at my local sephora studio and and a bigger location farther from me and they both had it! I don't knw why I thought they wouldn't. I reccomend also take like a little sponge if you are getting a foundation. This is really useful to keep in bag or car for touch ups!

I wouldn’t recommend taking samples from anything that is not from a tube/squeeze/pump because people can access it with their hands.
