- This is the Car Wash at Speedway Gas Station on Viscount and Hawkins in El Paso, TX. This is a PDQ LaserWash 360 Touchless Car Wash. Here are some things you need to know:
This used to be Shell Gas Station up until 2020. Prior, it was a Chevron Gas Station up until 2004-2005.
Speedway has made a big entrance in El Paso and has been replacing a lot of Gas Stations.
This Car Wash originally had a Mark VII AquaJet 98 with the bottom wands up until 2004-2005 before Shell replaced it. Then, the system was replaced with a Belanger Vector Rapid Wash, but the Ultra Rare Triangle Shaped Vortex Dryers remained.
In 2012, the entire Car Wash was replaced with this PDQ LaserWash 360.
I checked on the Circle K Gas Station on Montwood and Traewood, and the Car Wash has been closed permanently and is gone forever. As of 2020, there are absolutely no more Car Washes with Triangle Shaped Vortex Dryers in the Desert Southwest.

Great video. I have visited only two car washes in El Paso and I’m planning on visiting one of the bays at the Sam’s Club car wash whenever I go back
Top Wash James I live in El Paso and that is actually my go to wash! i typically use the kondor as the freestyler is rough on the car. Also, down the street from sams is a belanger vector rapid wash which is also really good.
It’s sad that this replaced a Vector Rapid Wash with the ultra rare triangle shaped drop down Vortex dryers, and it’s even more sad that there are no more Vortex dryers in El Paso. At least I’ve filmed a Car wash in Salem MA that has the ultra rare Top nozzle Vortex dryers!
Also, there is another LaserWash 360 at another speedway in El Paso. That one replaced an Oasis Typhoon with Gale Force and International Drying Corp Dryers. El Paso has some really interesting car washes.
You may be talking about the Speedway on Yarbrough.

@@bpot1927 I believe there were 2 of them, one at the old Exxon and the other at the old Diamond Shamrock by the old Best Buy and old Compaq USA.
PHX Aviation & Travels as a matter of fact, the exxon (now valero) had a softgloss xs 1 with red brushes. i remember seeing it years ago when i was by the lexus dealership. And yes that is another r7b, the one by best buy but i never saw that one in person, but i knew what it was from the code box and the other diamond shamrock location.
I live in el paso and i didn’t know this was a former chevron with an aquajet 98. All i remember is it being a belanger vector rapid wash with those rare dryers. That belanger vector rapid was rare too cause it had signage on the machine from what i can remember.
There's a really long car wash tunnel in Katy Texas! It has MacNeil equipment. It's called Buc-ee's!
