Great review, well-done video! No stupid music, commentary on point and relevant. I feel like you were being honest with your assessment. I had no idea that power banks and decent headlamps were issue these days. Figured they were still giving you guys angle-head flashlights, LOL. I would certainly be interested in a follow-up review in a few months! I’m thinking of one of these lights for hunting since I need a usable red light. I have a Black Diamond Storm which is a good light, but the new version eats AAA Lithiums like candy. Rechargeable would be great.

Hey there! No, I haven't had any issues. I usually keep it in a separate pouch so nothing else hits it and the button requires somewhat firm pressure to turn on.

It worked really good in a lot of different climates, but it did die on me recently. I'm going to send it in to get looked at. Loved it before it died though.
Hey, it was great in the snow and rain! However I went to ops check it before a trip to the woods and it did not turn on. I tried swapping out different batteries and I didn't see any signs of corrosion, but I need to send it in to get checked out. It worked great up until then.

@@johnkenny694 What are you going to do when your water based electrolyte battery freezes at high altitude? Anyway if you need to recharge batteries out in the wilds, you are doing something wrong. Always carry spare batteries and a back up head torch in case one breaks. Plus a hand torch and dynamo light charged by winding it up.
This headlamp is incredible. It’s light, simple, and is by far the brightest headlamp I’ve ever had. I will never buy another headlamp again.

I do alot of night fishing and have used alot of head tourches over the years. This is the best I've used by some distance......nuf sed. Good video.

The price of the core rechargeable battery is a total rip off, AAA rechargeable batteries do the same job for less than a third of the price.
Ya, but how are you going to recharge the AAA batteries when you are up the Rocky Mountains a million miles from the nearest socket?

@@Enpassantful I use a P20000 power bank, good for -40c and a whole week of charging.
@@johnkenny694 I also use a goal zero power bank that lets me recharge my electronics for about 3-4 charges.
