A thing that I really love about this is the fact that they have the singers from the original opening in on this song
it might just be picky but i think they should have used the original song from W

I totally just realized that Shotarou’s silhouettes are the colors of Metal and Trigger, and Phillip’s are Heat and Luna. Plus Accel having both yellow and blue for his respective forms. So much detail I love it
don't forget about their own colors in front of the silhouettes that represent their main forms shotaro is purple philip is green and ryu is red

The only way it's not getting used somewhere during the series would be some kind of licensing issues. I'm sure that otherwise they're not gonna miss an opportunity to play it during some climactic scene.

This actually really makes me happy since Kamen Rider W was the first ever series that introduced me to the Kamen Rider Franchise. So seeing it as an anime makes me very happy.
The fact that they finally made a Kamen Rider anime is blowing my mind right now.
Colors for each character is a hint of their Rider forms:
Shotaro: Purple for Joker, blue for Trigger, light grey (silver) for Metal
Philip: Green for Cyclone, red for Heat, yellow for Luna (maybe add white in the future for Fang?)
Ryu: Red for Accel, blue for Trial, yellow for Booster
Spoilers for tokime but purple is important
Hopefully the show will add fang joker cyclone joker extreme and gold cyclone joker extreme ps what other kamen rider super sentai or ultraman shows are you hoping to be in anime

@@Mattatiah95 You don't need to watch W in order to enjoy this. Considering how straightforward the anime is, it can be enjoyed without watching the original show, which is good for a casual audience. If anything, they can check out Kamen Rider W after the anime!

But for real, do a Google, check socials, it's just Toku fans talking about Fuuto PI. And while that is what it is, mission failed, at least there's the anime, Toei actually said the future of subbed simulcast Rider depends on Fuuto PI being a big hit with audiences. So yeah, so much for that.

@@manuofcc4541 Nah. A few dozen. The anime is definitely not gonna alienate a casual audience, since I'm seeing quite a decent abundance of non-toku people like what we've seen of the anime so far. So it's definitely not gonna be "None" like you originally implied. Plus I have a few friends who are non-toku who are interested in checking out the original series from this!

WBX is still a better opening in my opinion. I do like that they brought back the original singers though.

I can only hope this finally makes Kamen Rider the break in popularity it needs in the west, it has been struggling since Masked Rider (which people hated) and Dragon Knight (which was liked, but it still bombed in the States). Gotta join it's brother series, Super Sentai (which was through Power Rangers, but still...)

Yes. It's a stand alone with the same setting. But it gives all the relevant information, and you don't NEED to watch the other show.

Not really, this series was made so it could bring new fans to Kamen Rider.
It takes place after the show and features it's main characters, but the whole story is all about the new characters they introduce here.
It has some nods to the original series, but that's just characters that appeared back then for two episodes coming back and having like two lines of dialogue.

While I agree W.B.X and W.G.X are better songs than private eye, I think private eye fits better for the noir detective style they have tried to use in all series.
It's like saying cyclone Effect should have been the theme for the original show. It's a Better song than WBX, but also not what they wanted for the series
