Most definitely a tragic movie. It made me feel more connected to those who fight and have fought... our VETERANS. What really struck me in THIS movie is that, there weren't any real "glimmers of hope". And yet, somehow, they were able to portray that hope is always there, whether through "meetings" or having to honestly FACE the realities of what MUST BE confronted "in the end". This was, in my opinion, a truly SPECTACULAR drama/thriller/military movie!!!!
I think also it was a glimpse in Chadwick Boseman, RIP quiet suffering of his own ultimate gone to soon but to not forget his impact. And to ultimately see the world even at a different angle can still be challenging to accept but one must , even when fate is on the losing end according to our flesh body and mind.
This movie was very deep & dark. I’m 76 & have had many friends that have served & come back in pieces. Many left us with much heartache…. What could we have done to help them readjust to coming home? People want to know the horrors that they endured….. I think that is cruel to ask of them as it brings things they are trying to cope with right up front. And let’s not forget our reactions to what they tell us. We are horrified! We can’t understand the mindset of a soldier during war. Thank you for making this movie & hopefully it will help all who watch it come to a semi , to a deeper understanding of a soldier’s life. I'm only 27 minutes into this movie. I gotta say, Besides the really DEEP intrigue of the script... the GREAT acting and dialogue; the placement of the "commercials" is kinda, like, SUPERB!!! They don't "interfere" with the flow. This is the very FIRST time I've been able to actually enjoy a movie with commercials. So far NONE of the commercials have overlapped any dialogue. I only hope that [in continuing to watch] it stays this way. Also, I hope that y'all will continue showing movies starring Chadwick Boseman as I've only seen him in the Marvel movies. This is my first time seeing him act in anything outside of Marvel, and it is a TREAT!!!! I also love seeing Billy Zane. He's another exemplary actor. So, thank you for this upload!!!

Incredible movie!! Chadwick Bozeman had a gift from God and then he went home too soon for those of us still here trying to figure out what God wants us to do. Longing to go home and feeling like an Alien!!! I get a few glimpses here and there. I really enjoyed this powerful movie and watching the great Chad Boseman was great in this movie. He is such a great actor and what a great lost. He is good in everything he has played . This movie was intense and emotional for me, I have and always have so much respect for our soldiers and all what they do. So sad so many of the men fight for our country and have no home to go to. The top men calling all the shots live in elaborate homes and live very well. VETs become homeless and left destitute and displaced. Waiting on their GI bill to get into a home and off the streets. This breaks my heart how so many of them end upl😢. A very good movie!

It’s interesting see, that the guys in the end of the movie were real soldiers not actors… And, yeah the Company does shit like that, maybe not exactly, as portrayed as in the movie, but close enough!!! I’m a veteran myself, was an E4 in the US Coast Guard stationed on an air base in Port Angeles Washington, I was an electrician and on my duty days I was Coxswain of a 44 foot patrol boat, for search and rescue. This was in the sixties and she was a wooden boat with twin 671 jimmy diesels and, would you believe, we carried a 50 caliber machine gun for chasing down the bad guys. We couldn’t catch shit, the 44 was built for power not speed.

This has the potential to be a great movie, but I wish the makers hadn’t used the strange music in the background, I say background but it is almost front and centre and makes hearing the philosophical musings of the Lt a little difficult to concentrate on, and if they have a huge bearing on the storyline it might be a bit confusing if you don’t hear them properly. @ 25:20+ the statement about “we did what we were told” is just like saying “we were following orders” in defence of committing a war crime, and in this context it is obvious that is what happened, and I know it is only a movie but I think we all know, our should know that in war things can happen that are, legally speaking, war crimes, I think it is very brave of the writers to use that as the background to the storyline, it isn’t something that is addressed very often in movies, it should be, but it is not something that we want to believe did and does happen in reality.

42:00 "you think we've ever been anything but a couple of pawns?..." I'm leaning into the screen, committed, hopeful... but fearful the writers are going to screw this up. So took a break to visualize where it should have gone. ...It stayed on track until 56:00, then held hopeful till 1:20, then nosedived into stupidity and unbelievability. The story ending was crap; but the acting was SUPREME untlil the very end; Boseman is class, I liken him best in 'Serenity'.

Most definitely a tragic movie. It made me feel more connected to those who fight and have fought... our VETERANS. What really struck me in THIS movie is that, there weren't any real "glimmers of hope". And yet, somehow, they were able to portray that hope is always there, whether through "meetings" or having to honestly FACE the realities of what MUST BE confronted "in the end". This was, in my opinion, a truly SPECTACULAR drama/thriller/military movie!!!!

I think also it was a glimpse in Chadwick Boseman, RIP quiet suffering of his own ultimate gone to soon but to not forget his impact. And to ultimately see the world even at a different angle can still be challenging to accept but one must , even when fate is on the losing end according to our flesh body and mind.
This movie was very deep & dark. I’m 76 & have had many friends that have served & come back in pieces. Many left us with much heartache…. What could we have done to help them readjust to coming home? People want to know the horrors that they endured….. I think that is cruel to ask of them as it brings things they are trying to cope with right up front. And let’s not forget our reactions to what they tell us. We are horrified! We can’t understand the mindset of a soldier during war.
Thank you for making this movie & hopefully it will help all who watch it come to a semi , to a deeper
understanding of a soldier’s life.

This really gave me an understanding of what some veterans go thru.
My man is a Vietnam Veteran(1969-71). Including him I know 6 all together. My man is the only one that gave me his insights of being in that war. Nah no fu©ked up stuff was told but what was left unsaid was enough to hear.
He suffers from PTSD. You wouldn't know it because he's a really cool person and very loving 😊. Somehow he managed to keep it together for his family. I think it helped him to transition back to a sense of normalcy.

So so madam fame versus sacrifice Cheswick bowling
I'm only 27 minutes into this movie. I gotta say, Besides the really DEEP intrigue of the script... the GREAT acting and dialogue; the placement of the "commercials" is kinda, like, SUPERB!!! They don't "interfere" with the flow. This is the very FIRST time I've been able to actually enjoy a movie with commercials. So far NONE of the commercials have overlapped any dialogue. I only hope that [in continuing to watch] it stays this way. Also, I hope that y'all will continue showing movies starring Chadwick Boseman as I've only seen him in the Marvel movies. This is my first time seeing him act in anything outside of Marvel, and it is a TREAT!!!! I also love seeing Billy Zane. He's another exemplary actor. So, thank you for this upload!!!

I really enjoyed this powerful movie and watching the great Chad Boseman was great in this movie. He is such a great actor and what a great lost. He is good in everything he has played . This movie was intense and emotional for me, I have and always have so much respect for our soldiers and all what they do. They make the ultimate sacrifices and yet they come back home with mentally,physically and emotionally issues. Then on top of it they are treated so unfairly(like the actor said pons) T

VETs become homeless and left destitute and displaced. Waiting on their GI bill to get into a home and off the streets. This breaks my heart how so many of them end upl😢. A very good movie!

Crazy on The Outside with Tim Allen and Sigourney Weaver
It’s interesting see, that the guys in the end of the movie were real soldiers not actors…
And, yeah the Company does shit like that, maybe not exactly, as portrayed as in the movie, but close enough!!!
I’m a veteran myself, was an E4 in the US Coast Guard stationed on an air base in Port Angeles Washington, I was an electrician and on my duty days I was Coxswain of a 44 foot patrol boat, for search and rescue.
This was in the sixties and she was a wooden boat with twin 671 jimmy diesels and, would you believe, we carried a 50 caliber machine gun for chasing down the bad guys.
We couldn’t catch shit, the 44 was built for power not speed.

This has the potential to be a great movie, but I wish the makers hadn’t used the strange music in the background, I say background but it is almost front and centre and makes hearing the philosophical musings of the Lt a little difficult to concentrate on, and if they have a huge bearing on the storyline it might be a bit confusing if you don’t hear them properly.
@ 25:20+ the statement about “we did what we were told” is just like saying “we were following orders” in defence of committing a war crime, and in this context it is obvious that is what happened, and I know it is only a movie but I think we all know, our should know that in war things can happen that are, legally speaking, war crimes, I think it is very brave of the writers to use that as the background to the storyline, it isn’t something that is addressed very often in movies, it should be, but it is not something that we want to believe did and does happen in reality.

42:00 "you think we've ever been anything but a couple of pawns?..." I'm leaning into the screen, committed, hopeful... but fearful the writers are going to screw this up. So took a break to visualize where it should have gone. ...It stayed on track until 56:00, then held hopeful till 1:20, then nosedived into stupidity and unbelievability. The story ending was crap; but the acting was SUPREME untlil the very end; Boseman is class, I liken him best in 'Serenity'.
