Amazing video. One question: is the smart lock you put in the description compatible with hospitable's schlage integration? I checked Hospitable's list of the Smart Locks they support, and that specific model wasn't on the list. Thank you!
Great video Danny. So much useful info. We are fairly new to STR. We are using Vacasa right now for our PM since we don’t live Seattle the location of our STR condo. If you have any suggestions for a good PM would appreciate it. Also I saw in your video you are offering both your books for $15. Is there a discount code for that deal? Thank you!
Great vid! thank you, Re smart locks, I noticed that the Schlage Smart Lock you linked doesn't have a remote access, am I correct in this? If so, and you have properties in other states/countries how do you change the code to maximise security for guests? I noticed the Schlage Encode Wifi is a solution but quite pricey. Thanks!
Have to admit smart locks have been the number 1 headache for me both as a guest and a host. They all suck, and I'm always nervous they will not work. I accept that good o'l fashioned lock box and key is not quite as secure, but I sleep far better at night.
2,500 nights / 365 nights = 6 years and 10 months. You've been staying in Airbnbs since 2018 (6 years total). Therefore: you don't have an actual residence, and for 10 months you stayed in 2 Airbnbs at the same time? Odd. . . Also, 80% of $125 is $100 off. Also, an orphan night is a single night bookended by two confirmed reservations (hence the term "orphan"). I need to stop. . .
Great content! I just miss one thing: Keep a list of the things you have talked about on the screen at all times. Each time you start a new tip, add it to the left of the screen. Makes it easier to go back to re-watch a specific part.
What about those airbnb fees. In my area it looks like i am the only one that is charged %15. The other hosts in my area are not. And i can’t change it back to where it was 3% for host. Thank you for the vdo, very informative.

Your best video yet! Tons of real advice and tips. Editing much snappier now!
You don't know how much that means to me. Thank you 💪
I am new to Airbnb and hopefully i catch all your points and club in the airbnb listing.
Of course 🙏
This is an excellent video. I can say that after watching a lot of other videos.
Thank you. I agree 😁
@@OptimizeMyAirbnb yes, I'm a host with 55+ listings in India and I know what it takes to do this kind of research and host successfully.
Hi Danny! Thank you for the quality of your video content. What software did you use for the floor plan and testimonial design?
The floor plan is actually a product that I sell, you can find it in my website if you google “airbnb floor plan optimizemybnb”
Excellent tips!!
Thanks!

No, I’ve found that using locks with less bells and whistles saves me headaches.
What about the new listing format where you cannot organize images after the first 5 (since they’re stuck in rooms - also unmovable)?
You need to remove all your photos and reupload them, unfortunately :/
How does reloading allow you to reorder?
You have to manually drag them to place them in the order you want. Best to do this on your laptop not your phone.
@@Ramanhere468 it wasn’t working when I was trying that in the new listing style.
Gems on gems! thank you!
Thanks for sharing 🙏
Where do we make the floor plan and also is there a template available for the review highlight photo?
I actually offer the floor plan: optimizemyairbnb.com/product/custom-airbnb-floor-plan-hand-drawn/

Yes that’s correct I never said smart lock, I prefer “dumb” digital locks less headaches in the long run
This is gold.
🙌🏻🔥
Smart Locks are awesome. Have you found a viable option for garage door opening?
Unfortunately not
4:38 did you use software to create this “heat map” of distance to cool things?
I sell that map: optimizemyairbnb.com/product/airbnb-guest-map-walking-driving-biking/
I love your channel ❤️. I am starting an AirB&B soon. Going to buy the book.
That's awesome to hear, can wait to read your review!
@@OptimizeMyAirbnb I want to get your program THE “PROFITABLE PROPERTIES” PROGRAM any Post Bladk Friday discount offered ? :P

Yup. Complex ones are unnecessary. I use a 'dumb' digital lock
Hi! Great video. Only a question, How you add emojis on your airbnb text? Thanks!
Just copy paste from online

Where can we buy the book with the promo code?
Hey! Which code are you referring to?
@@OptimizeMyAirbnb the option to buy both of the books for 15$ ("23TIPS" check min 5:39)

Yes! I've added it to the description "Airbnb Guest Map"

This guy has so much to say for someone who is not a host lol
I am a host, not sure where you got the impression that I'm not
Also, he mentioned that he worked at Airbnb, so trying to provide insightful information from an inside source is useful either way
