Goodbye Rust on the 55’ + Color on the Barracuda!

- Busy Friday, we pulled the Impala out to cure for the weekend. In the meantime, we got the underside of the hood sprayed in satin black along with the underside of the trunk done in body color.
We also painted the barracuda hood & trunk, and Jesse continued metal work on Bill’s 55 and it’s starting to look like a car again!

Wow! It's been a long, long time since I seen a gun finish that flawless. Outstanding craftsmanship. A true master of the art.
I completely agree!! You can watch guys for years and you just don’t find guys putting a gun finish on that smooth and damn near perfect!! There are a few painters out here that can do it but they are few and far between for sure! He has a gun finish that loooks better than most shops cut & buffed finishes, he’s extremely talented with that gun to say the least!!
But, it does take a shop full of talented individuals to have every job turn out flawless like they do and that entire shop seems to really know their strengths & weaknesses and they capitalize upon those strengths each other has and turn out a flawless paint job!!!
I’m not here to say anything negative at all. A good gun makes a bad painter better. A good painter makes a bad gun better. This is a blend of a good gun and a good painter. It is truly masterful work.

As a house painting contractor for 25 years i used an airless sprayer with many different coatings, lacquer, oil stains ,sealers. I always wanted to try painting a car with an airless sprayer. I love how much pride you guys take with your prep and fabrication. You make my OCD calm down. Thank you for your groovy vibes.
Very informative on the process on painting and hopefully i don't get beat up for saying this I'm not a painter folks. I appreciate how much detail you guys give also. Anyone that brings a project here will be given the same quality. Bravo house of pearls.
I’ve always thought that show quality paint is art..but the voiceover shows how much tech and equipment knowledge is really needed for results like these. This channel should have so many more subs!

2 things.
1- Dust specks are not just your booth. It's all booths. All we can do is clean as best we can. Dust will always find it's way somewhere. Hahaha
2- if that's light weight fiberglass. We've spent countless hrs making it straight (wave free). As soon as hot sun gets on it. It moves, just like chasing a rainbow it never stops.... looks good from our shop!👍
You guys are truly amazing. If your not busy there’s a problem. That’s one problem you guys will never have. Your so damn talented buddy hope to meet you guys 1 day.

Just a heads up for you garage painters.
30 psi on clear will seriously jack your material transfer rate.
Aka: OVERSPRAY!! Which Redlands in your finish as dust.
I spray with a teckna clear gun which atomizes big to begin with and 25psi is about the top of the threshold before I’m creating my own problems.
Just something to keep in mind..
