the thing I've never liked about regina music is that everyone is so concerned with being a rockstar that it's all cliche and imitation. standard chords. diatonic. repetition. it's all so predictable. it's no wonder people fixate on the lyrics - there's nothing happening musically. and the lyrics? can you anymore pander anymore to the immediate interests of your social circle? it's a blatant appeal to fit in with counter culture regina.
