Congrats to IOWA The WNBA needs Caitlin. When Kobe died I thought WNBA took a big hit because his daughter was going to bring views. She has to elevate women's basketball because Americans definitely are behind in terms of supporting and respecting female athletes. I'm hoping she plays overseas tournaments too and earns pounds and tons of global fame. Angel and Caitlin are taking one step for basketball but one giant leap for the WNBA.
Idk. The WNBA needs to be dissolved. It’s not a profitable business. It losses 10 mil on every year on average. The market is not there and the entertainment is poor.
While Caitlin Clark hadn’t blown up Womens basketball yet her freshman year, A LOT of people that follow it thought she was the better freshman than “National Player of the Year” Page Beckers, and if you Google their stats it’s pretty crazy Caitlin didn’t win it in 2021! She was first team All American and freshman of the year, where player of the year was given to Paige. But, here’s there stats for that season: Paige averaged 18 points per game, Caitlin averaged 27! Paige averaged 5.8 assists, Caitlin 7.1 assists! Paige averaged 5.8 rebounds per game where Caitlin averaged 5.9! I mean, honestly I’d love to hear someone explain why Paige won it that year and not Caitlin…?
No reason not to play 10 games, make 5 million quickly and you are set for life. Then go play in the wnba for 76 grand. I'm sure she will sign huge endorsement deals. This is the first woman's prospect ever that could change the whole landscape for a wnba organization. She really deserves to get a huge bag.
Connecticut will not get into serious foul trouble early because the refs know they have no depth and the NCAA does not want a foul plagued potential blowout because of free throws.
She can score but she doesn't play good defense. Plus when you defend her tough she gets sloppy and makes bad decisions... not the signs of a goat maybe an angry lamb
