The thing about Nic Cage that make him my favorite actor is his passion. He loves what he does so much and loves film so much and you can see that 110% passion in every single project he does. In Willies Wonderland, he doesnt say a word theough the whole movie and still you cant take your eyes off his performance
He has so many levels. I think he's incredible! When you watch one of his films, it's an experience! You never know what you are going to get but it's always awesome! Raising Arizona, Peggy Sue Got Married, Vampire's Kiss. Leaving Las Vegas, Willie's Wonderland, Pig. Wild At Heart! Moonstruck! Adaptation! Mandy! Not to mention all his action movies! He's an Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent!

I think most realistic longevity goals do not involve extending the time one is in the state of that 111-year-old man. I think for many or most of us who hope for such things, the goal is more about extending the time you are in a state where your daily activities include at least 4 hours of valuable work, a workout, hang with friends for a bit, ideally get laid...

When I was in my early 20s Nic cages brother somehow involved himself in our local film community and was being kinda weird with the festivals and there was a big beef within our group and his brother. We had a radio show at the time and would kind of tease by saying “Nic cage who? Nic what ?”
It’s kind of funny though if you look at all of Nics family, cousins, aunt etc… they’re all some sort of massively successful artist, then there’s his brother…🫣Yikes!

I'm not a nic cage fan. Lord of War is ok. Con air is easily one of my top 10 movies (I'm stuck on films from late 70s to early 2000s) but not necessarily just because of him (fckn love Danny Trejo and Steve Buscemi)

He did not pay his taxes for like a decade; because, someone told him something crazy. So, he needed to make a bunch of movies to pay off his $14 million tax bill plus interest. He also made a bunch of really bad investments into stuff like castles, and was completely broke while having a $14 million tax bill. That's why we had a bunch of weird Nicolas Cage movies from 2010 to 2020.
Gotta hand it to him, good or bad movies, he worked hard to pay off that debt.
