Always great to see her killing it!! But honestly communication audio would be great too.. she could be commenting on her experience and what she sees... Just a thought...
Alina is an inspirational young woman who is mature, confident and well grounded way beyond her years. Not a lot of teens get to follow their passions and dreams. Well done. I suspect a career in commercial aviation might be on the cards. Kudos also to her parents for supporting her in the fulfillment of her dreams. Parents like you rock.
Ahh the smell of sweet southern vegetation in the mornings. Mixed with avgas and exhaust!! A salvation for the soul. Nothing better...Kudos to Eddie Prop Mgr for getting you in/out of Oak Tree, without damaging barbed wire/fence.
Love to see some video of her in a more substantial aircraft. Her PIC skills already seem to exceed her years on this 103. Is she doing any work in the 150 in Class D airspace? If so, I bet she is on her game there as well. Stay focused young one, the military always needs above average pilots.
It looks chilly there and Alina has a cold by the look of things - not good for flying but it will clear the sinuses! She is so natural and light on the controls, feeling for her landings which are getting really good. Not gripping the yoke too hard as some novices do (I did) and your heartbeat in your hands can actually move the aircraft slightly. The chief instructor told me 'fingertips are enough mostly unless in turbulence'. Incredibly confident flyer well done Alina and Dad.
@@bluejay713 You can get good gloves, heated at cycle gear as well motorcycle place that are all over the country. Just take some used to getting used to working with gloves on, but you can get gloves at various thickness which helps.
I wonder how an Aerolite 103 would perform in Utah where I live. On a hot summer day with low humidity, the density altitude can easily reach 7000+ feet and there are multiple airports with a high field elevation to start with. I don't see a service ceiling in the specs on the Aerolite. The nearest airport to me that isn't in the middle of a whole bunch of city and isn't much higher elevation is KTVY (Tooele Valley Bolinder Field...that's pronounced 'too-will-uh' by the way :)). It has a field elevation of 4321 MSL. I'm really curious how it would fly here.
@@williamh.scottv438 I know one thing and that is that the takeoff roll would never be an issue because on the videos you’ve posted that thing takes off so fast it is crazy. If I buy one I’d opt for the more powerful motor to compensate for the altitude.
I'm thinking, could there be a special pocket made for her jackets/coats facing the front for her cellphone? That will be a snug fit, yet easy to put in and pull out, at the top of the pocket, with a zipper, thus eliminating any chance of her losing it during flights. 😏
Hi Alina... Congratulations, you are a brave pilot... Only one thing!!! Am I wrong, or you forgot to clean the airplane? I mean flaps up after take-off. If I am right, don't forgot the after Take-Off check-list. 👌✌👏👍🤟❤
Helmets don't provide any real protection against the kinds of accidents that she might have. The main focus is to not have accidents in the first place by proper preparation and training.
I would also like to add....to inspire the youth of today to seek an honest goal, look into it, pursue it, instead of sitting at home doing video games 😉
Good job supporting your daughter Mr. Scott!
Thanks!

Well said totally agree
I think that's a blood line type of confidence she gat. ❤ on a carrier thing, sure with lots of confidence. 🎉
Another great video I enjoy watching them
I think she is so awesome. I shared your content with my grand kids I have 7 I think it's such a inspiration so cool your doing this

Regular gas 1:32 oil mix
Yes. In a Mooney you need 100LL. In a Kawasaki 440 you need regular mixed with 2cycle oil.
@@bluejay713 I think they are working on a 4 cycle.

Brrr.. shivering flight, you looked sooo cold. Warm up quickly!

I Bet Alina will be thrilled to be in A Enclosed Cockpit!!! was thinking that today after Yesterdays Video!
I’ll bet she’d even be more thrilled with proper head gear/protection.
More gas money, Thanks for the videos.
Thanks!
I'm really enjoying seeing flights. Thank you all, so much positive energy).
Glad you enjoy it!
😎👍🏻 I imagine the pre-flight hug is done off-camera. No need to add it to the checklist. 😊
Yes it's done before she gets in the chair. The only part that's on the checklist is to see that it's been done

My 150 is collecting dust at the moment as all my efforts are on her current task. Probably after this summer we will think about what's next.
another well done.
One of the simpliest mini lite power wing jet i have seen so far (Airhaccker) . merry distance.🎉

Who makes the sleeves she is wearing? The ones with her checklists and whatnot. I kinda like that idea! :).
They are used by quarterbacks. Get them on Amazon.
The overland "Drive" longer than the flight !!
Yup
You might want to look into heated motorcycle gloves for her hands since your hands are always so cold they would work perfect in a setting like this

I think it would be fine. You'd have to retune the carb and expect slower climbs and longer takeoff rolls but I think it would be satisfactory.

Is she communicating with towers before takeoff and landing?
If she's at a towered airport of course, but this was not a towered Airport.

I’m guessing school must be out. Did you land in a tail wind? Enjoy your holiday.
