Versatility is what makes a pizza topping Great. Pineapple is good, anchovies are good, but their limited uses don't make them Great. Conversely, you can put Bacon, Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Barbecue Sauce, and Ranch on almost anything and it will work.
So here's where I stand in terms of Spinach on a pizza... while it does add a very mild if at all flavor to a pizza they do add one thing to that all the meats don't add. That is color. Like you already have red from the sauce the yellow/white from the cheese the bits of red from pepperoni brown from the bacon. So when you add that touch green spinach it just makes the pizza pop! It gives it eye appeal. When I don't want just plain cheese or pepperoni. My pizza is: Pepperoni, Bacon, Spinach and sometimes depending on my mood ill add Bell Peppers & onion. So it's a very lively "deluxe or supreme" if you will
Double cheese, pepperoni, bacon, banana peppers, and pineapple. It was called the tropical heat wave and was my first introduction into pineapple on pizza. Ate 3 slices that day and changed my mind pretty fast
Banana peppers are super underrated. Though I will say they can’t solo a pie. You need to pair it with pepperoni or Italian sausage, which you could say is a crutch, but I think it’s the best veggie you got there that combos with the meats.
I like anchovies too, the first time I had them they were really salty, so trying them with pineapple actually helped balance that out. Controversial? Sure. But delicious. I will die on this hill.
I love putting extra anchovy paste or fish sauce in my kimchi vermicelli and other Asian-inspired dishes. Never had it on pizza but I'd be willing to try.
Black olives in my opinion are an underrated pizza. I never have tried pineapple on a pizza but I've always wanted to. Now, for the broccoli, I've always wanted to try that on a white pizza, but instead of alfredo sauce, I think it would need some olive oil and a Béchamel sauce. And maybe a sourdough crust.
Honestly I don’t really think black olives go well with pizza but I do like them just by themselves so sometimes I’ll get my pizza with black olives and pick ‘em off and eat them or I’ll just get a can of black olives and eat them something about that metallicy flavor black olives have tingles me 8 inches deep just right
Onions, green peppers, and olives are all A or S tier for me. I rarely order a pizza without onions. It's the one vegetable that my wife also likes on a pizza.
Feta cheese mozz no sauce and spinach is one of my favorite slices (I hated spicy food when I was younger but the idea of dipping buffalo sauce on a slice sounds nice)
Pesto is good if done right that good Italian pesto adds a savory taste almost like a mix of bacon and a very mild pepper which is why me personally I pair it with tomatoes and mozzarella cheese
Judging by the pic, the "zucchini" looks to be an eggplant to me 🍆 I personally like it but I get why others don't dig it. Pre-frying it and putting it on pizza also gives an eggplant parmesan sort of vibe to a pie too. Also prosciutto on pizza is awesome and I highly recommend it! Way better than regular ham.
The BEST way to have pineapple on a pizza is on a bbq chicken pizza with pineapple, jalapeño and banana pepper. The pineapple absolutely compliments everything perfectly in this context.
absolutely missed with the pineapple, I know it's preference but nah man. I consider it sacrilege personally, and I'll be honest, someone could bake me a fresh pie and if it had pineapple on it, I'd politely throw it away.
Fresh basil does a lot of a pizza I think. My parents used to own a pizza shop and my go to toppings were Light sauce, roasted garlic, bacon, fresh basil. Key is “fresh” basil. When you bake it at the same time with the rest of the pizza, yes the flavor diminishes and you are left with a shriveled up green leaf. It has to be added after the fact. My custom go to was simple but very good. Pizza does not need to be over complicated.
Cottage Inn has a really good broccoli, chicken and Feta pizza. Don't worry, the Feta is sprinkled on as a topping and it still has your traditional cheese. If you have one in your area in Ohio, I definitely suggest giving it a shot. We ordered one for my wife and I at our reception and it was the first one to disappear. We did not expect it to be so popular. :P
yellow peppers on pizza is actually really good. you're right it does give it a bit of sweetness to it but it's deff subtle. subtle but enjoyable. deff recommend having them cooked/grilled first to bring more flavor to it tho. but i rate it like a 4.75/5. would def recommend to anyone!
Basil and cheese are S tier Bacon onions spinach + feta pineapple + ham jalapenos Thick Pepperoni A tier Sausage peppers meatballs mushrooms B tier Fried eggplant olives pesto C tier Average thin Pepperoni D tier Chicken steak tomatoes broccoli Absolute F minus tier
The majority of people who say Pineapple does not go on pizza have never even tried it, And I was that way for a long time until I really did try it, I loved it and it is currently one of my go to favorite toppings.
The thing about sausage pizza is that's it's hard to place it on the list since a lot of pizza places have bad sausage pizza it's only a good topping from certain places
I was just about to comment something like this. I use to always choose sausage pizza over pepperoni every time...Until certain chains started cheating out by using very inappropriate & very obvious *sage* sausage 😝
i feel where youre coming from but believe me basil on pizza is the shit. you just gotta put it on the pizza fresh right as it comes out of the oven. same with proscioutto or any cured fatty sliced meats. put it on after it comes out of the oven and it wont end up being shriveled up and dry but just melt into the pizza and make it amazing. they are some of the iconic italian pizza toppings for a reason you just gotta do it right. im with you with pineapple on pizza though. just amazing
YESSSSSSSS THANK YOU PINEAPPLE ON PIZZA IS AMAZING!!! everyone comes after me for liking pineapple on pizza but it literally taste amazing!!!! 100/10!!!!!
Prosciutto a lot of times is added after the pizza is cooked Edit: there’s a place near me that does cold prosciutto and cold basil on top of the pizza and it’s God tier
Any Italians would kill you. This is the most American type of pizza toppings I have ever seen, and I'm loving it 😂. You put most of the "traditional" toppings such as olives and ham on the bottom of the list....
my jaw dropped cuz i thought U were gunna move the prossutio 2 the top but U lowered it a 2nd time 😭😂 however i clapped when U top tiered that ranch. ur doing God’z work - ty 🍕
Pineapple on pizza is fire as shit.... My moms favorite and i messed around and tried it one time and been hooked every since... Add with chicken, bacon, ham, or all three...
Back when I could still eat pizza my go to combo was bacon, onion, mushroom. That mix just hit the sweet spot for me. Olives are an instant fail along with anchovies because 1, I don't like the taste and 2, they completely dominate any other flavor on the pie.
Pineapple is best on pizza if you do it with BBQ sauce , ham, and jalapenos. Also spinach, grilled chicken, and Alfredo sauce is awesome for a healthier pizza
Best pizza ever..Canadian Bacon..jalapeño..and pineapple..perfect combination for those who dare to travel down a flavor explosion..the salty..the spicey..the sweet..I better slow down before I slap someone's mamma😅
Even as a fat dude, I have to admit, spinach. broccoli, and onions, are must add ons after the many meats and cheeses on my pizza. It's like an instant meal for me. But the zucchini on a pizza will make me wanna start a fight in an empty room.
Do you balls hang low do they wobble do they throw. Can you tie them in a knot, can you tie them in a bow. Can you throw them over your shoulder like a continental soldier do your balls, lay, low
Can we really trust this man’s food opinions? He puts his milk in before his cereal and thinks that’s okay🤨. (This is jokes I actually love Stefan despite his backwards cereal)
Usually I always think you're opinions are pretty based. Therefore as a pineapple lover I was scared bout this tier list lol but glad you ranked it so highly I absolutely love it as a topping actually ate it today for lunch at blaze pizza
Putting corn on pizza is pretty common here on Brazil, usually when it's a bacon pizza, but it still pretty good by just itself
Ima have to try it.
@@SJohnsonVoiceOversno the fuck you don't
Also in Japan I think
Oh yeah? Well 🖕

Seeing you take a sip made me realize we need a Gatorade flavor tier list
Agreed
As long as green apple is at the bottom I'm all for it.

Pesto is basil, pine nuts, and olive oil. It's definitely a light flavor.
Pine nuts? I had no clue.
@@SJohnsonVoiceOvers I mean like you say in the video, it don't taste like much lmao
Classic pesto, though it's a blanket term. You can make so many different kinds of pesto.
And also grated hard cheese for saltines (usually pecorino romano or parmigiano reggiano)
I prefer the pesto with sun dried tomatoes as its base.
Double cheese, pepperoni, bacon, banana peppers, and pineapple. It was called the tropical heat wave and was my first introduction into pineapple on pizza. Ate 3 slices that day and changed my mind pretty fast
But what about regular bananas on pizza 🍕 🍌
A lot of toppings are more on how they are paired, and which sauce is used. Can really make any toppings look like a star if used right.
Banana peppers are super underrated. Though I will say they can’t solo a pie. You need to pair it with pepperoni or Italian sausage, which you could say is a crutch, but I think it’s the best veggie you got there that combos with the meats.
I agree
I like the banana peppers with slices of ham. It reminds me of a ham and mustard sammy. Yum.
Try pairing it with ham or bacon and then honey and pineapple, and add some garnish
Basil tastes great on pizza. It just heightens the flavor of the pizza sauce. Your wildin as usual
Brother has not had an authentic Napolitano Style Pizza and it shows
I could eat basil raw i love that shit
Green olives and pepperoni go together like peanut butter and jelly
Pineapple Jalapeno and Sausage Pizza is god-tier. Dying on that hill. You're balancing out salty savoriness with spicy and sweetness. Amazing.
Oh fuck no pineapple and jalapeños bruh that is a sin....period
I like anchovies too, the first time I had them they were really salty, so trying them with pineapple actually helped balance that out. Controversial? Sure. But delicious. I will die on this hill.
I like to go a bit crazy with my pizzas. So far my favorite topping mix is grilled chicken, bacon, and mushrooms with ranch and sriracha
I love putting extra anchovy paste or fish sauce in my kimchi vermicelli and other Asian-inspired dishes. Never had it on pizza but I'd be willing to try.
I feel you on the onions. I am adjusting to thema bit more as I get older but raw onion completely blows my palate and I don’t enjoy them
Black olives in my opinion are an underrated pizza. I never have tried pineapple on a pizza but I've always wanted to. Now, for the broccoli, I've always wanted to try that on a white pizza, but instead of alfredo sauce, I think it would need some olive oil and a Béchamel sauce. And maybe a sourdough crust.
Pineapple goes well with black olives imo, the salty/bitter olives balance well with the sweeter bright pineapple.
So many people but olives on pizza. It’s overated asf. And it leaks it’s like olive flavored grease onto the rest of the pizza and ruins it
Honestly I don’t really think black olives go well with pizza but I do like them just by themselves so sometimes I’ll get my pizza with black olives and pick ‘em off and eat them or I’ll just get a can of black olives and eat them something about that metallicy flavor black olives have tingles me 8 inches deep just right

Dr. Spinach Pizza from the supermarket is delicious in my opinion !!!! You should definitely try it one day , I promise you won't be disappointed !!
Bro you need basil in Italian food. A good margarita pie is a thing of art
Grew in to pineapple. Love it with Green Chile. Jalapeños too.
not a fan of those regular chicken they give , but if you get some chicken shawarma pizza with garlic sauce to dip that is amazing.
Popped up in my feed and I was like man, this guy should do voice work - then I saw the name of the channel lol.
Hahah. I appreciate you watching!
Love it! My favorite is supreme. I LOOOVE green peppers. If we're just making up a pizza, I like pepperoni, bacon, and pinnaple.

yes zucchini is indeed a type of eggplant
The BEST way to have pineapple on a pizza is on a bbq chicken pizza with pineapple, jalapeño and banana pepper. The pineapple absolutely compliments everything perfectly in this context.
I’m honestly picky about my pizza and rarely want anything on it besides meat cheese and sauce but I do like pineapple with pizza
Red, yellow, and green peppers mixed is awesome on pizza. Stancato’s in Parma does it and it rules.
Anchovies are the most underrated pizza topping!! Can only get it at certain places though. If it's the wrong pizza place can be bad.
My favorite order is dominos thin crust with a cheese and garlic sauce with cheese, chicken, and spinach it’s so good
I agree with Stefan on all of these. Personally I am a big fan of buffalo chicken pizza, alfredo chicken and meat lovers...
My favorite is
Italian sausage
Mushroom
Banana peppers and extra cheese.
