After years struggling with t2 diabetes under the care of eminent endocrinologists while on loads of insulin and other drugs, I did my own research and discovered the logic of keto diets. It's hard to have high blood sugar if you don't ingest carbs which convert to sugar. Since going strict keto, I've lost 75 pounds back to my age 24 weight, dropped insulin and other diabetes meds, and reduced my blood sugar to the good end of the normal range. Get a continuous blood glucose monitor if you don't already have one, and don't eat anything which makes your blood sugar spike. That's all it takes.
It's not just "depressing" anymore. Knowing what we know now about diabetes, continuing with the dogma of orthodox approach to T2 diabetes is genocidal.
I am now convinced that it is the mandate of the national health authorities to kill off old people with chronic disease based on insulin resistance. They have been pushing this for half a century. A way to save on pensions. They are all working toward this goal.
I discovered Paul Mason in early December last year and was horrified to learn that my type 2 diabetes could be reversed when all my doctor wanted me to do was take more Metformin and continue using the recommended Aust diet. Since adopting a keto / carnivore diet, I have to date lost 34kg, cut my average blood sugar to 5.0, my blood pressure is 122 / 77, and I have stopped taking all Metformin, Diovan and Lipitor for the last 2 months - I have never felt better and I can't remember when I was last this weight - at least 30 yrs ago if not longer. I can't over the fact that so many doctors are treating the symptoms and not the cause.
I dont know you..but i am so proud of you! Its people like you we need more of. Those that dont talk the walk..but walk the walk! Honestly...its so easy to do ..weight naturally falls off. Its the real answer...but unfortunately medical practitioners would go out of business..the pharmaceutical industry would lose too much money...and i hate to say it..but i think the biggest single reason governments all over the world encourage the covid 19 vaccine is because they know the truth about the real health of our society and dont want people to get sick and die..for one reason....the economy/tax revenue. Without tax..revenue and spending the world economies would collapse. A simple keto diet would solve the worlds health crisis in one full swoop. Why are so many people except those that are on it...so blind and stupid!!!
I was stunned to realize this all has been known for at least 5 years and none of my doctors ever told me about this and I had to discover it on UA-cam. They knew I've been type2 for 23 years now and were happy to give me plenty of metformin but not one ever suggested testing my B12 or magnesium levels.
Great news in this vid. I became aware of ketogenic diet while undergoing cancer treatment 2016, and it improved my general health immensely, thanks to my smart GP. I was never diagnosed with T2 diabetes, but realise now I was likely on that path. I am a NZer, and hope NZ could team up with you !
I only wish I had learned this 20 years ago before the meds killed my pancreas. Finally going to get a c peptide test soon to be sure whether I'm type 2 or misdiagnosed type 1. I've been carnivore (zero carb) since dec 2020 and still need to shoot insulin. My A1C has dropped from 14 to 12 to 9 and lastly 7.4
i actually cut carbs because I had insulin resistance and my doctor wasn't following through with my c-peptide requests. i know i got addicted as shit to carbs and sugar mid twenties. now, i have A1C of 4.4 and am probably healthier than kids half my age. i really don't miss all that crap and I cringe seeing teens and pre-teens eating up all these processed cookies. the parents don't even know of the bad shit in them. cookies, cake, milk, ice cream, breads.. carbs, carbs, carbs, they all add up because 'food' to most people is carbs. 'oh, but they are young, they can have'. no, that's how it starts. metabolic syndrome and diseases start at youth and progress as we age because none of this bad food belongs in our bodies. i'm literally my doctor's first carnivore patient and probably the first at my local clinic. they won't tell people even with severe diabetes to cut or reduce carbs, but will jump to put them on statins and meds. overweight or sickly thin dieticians are lecturing people on cholesterol and telling them to 'eat lot's of whole grains, low fat dairy, lot's of vegetables and fruit, healthy fats, limit saturated fats. but dunno why everyone's bodies are breaking down ? this dietician was same height, but weighs more than my mom and is my age ! she should not be a dietician.
@@AdayDr1en i so agree with everything you said. My poor grand neice is just as fat as i was at the 6 too. Her mom is learning thru me but sometimes its like talking to a wall cause she not implementing it. I know her daughter is going to go down the same road i did if i cant find a way to break through. The food industry should be sued just like the tobacco companies. The have the data but they push their crap. Also we need doctors to shift from their paradigms. This research has been out there since before my childhood in the late 60s and 70s. Im happy you found a doctor. Im still struggling to find one. My first visit to another one tried to tell me the same outdated stuff, and i overheard him tell someone else in the next room to eat low fat ice cream, low fat this and low fat that. To me thats the wordt advice cause if anyone reads labels they could clearly see when they take out fat they add SUGAR. IDK if ill be still looking or not. Gonna give him a few visits to see. Best wishes
I’m American. My late mother was German. Given an American recipe with sugar, she would invariably cut the amount of sugar in half. It almost always worked: recipes turned out fine and were reasonably sweet. “Sugar By Half” reminded me of that. (Type 1 diabetic myself since 1970.)
I personally believe that cutting half the amount of sugar out of the standard North American diet is still not enough, not even close. People need to start treating carbs as an addiction. It wouldn't be OK for an alcoholic to just cut their alcohol consumption to half, carbs are no different.
Good on you doctor Peter Bruckner, your awesome, I'm just coming on 5 years omad keto, unbelievable results, going to have a crack at that tour aotearoa for my 60th and fifth year omad, what a journey, I'm now fitter than I've ever been and understand the science, followed soon land when I saw him come on I've been one year omad keto, I'm one year behind him and thirty some years his senior and blessings to him too, take what he says about it for gospel, blessings ged
Started with Dr. MOSLEY's "FAST 800", progressed to the Keto lifestyle, lost 55kg and defeeded diabetes. The information is out there and the results show up on the scale and blood tests. Living in a regional location was no handycap as the process to change is not very challenging.
I don't know if you meant to or auto-correct changed the word "defeated" into "defeeded". But in this case defeeded actually describes exactly what you did to diabetes! Well done. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
quite often, soft drinks are cheaper than bottled water; sometimes, science vows to business very few are the sources of knowledge when it threatens commerce.
Think I committed a crime today. I told a fellow it was possible to reverse his diabetes. I hope he takes my advice. I can live with myself if I tell the truth. Denying him that knowledge would be the injustice.
One of the deadliest things on the planet is the word healthy. This word is often applied to things that are actually toxic. All it takes is for some group that is in the pocket of some industry or religion or both to say that something is good for you a healthy choice and the most toxic rubbish on the planet gets a marketing campaign designed to make you think you’re eating healthy. I made the mistake of buying reduced salt tomato sauce once . It was so sweet that you could have put it on ice cream.
The problem is that we live basically in a world full of idiots. Just about everybody I know, is guilty of being a complete and total idiot. I tell just about everybody I know that they are being lied to, yet nobody listens to a word I say. I have completely healed my poor health by changing the way I live by all the years of research about health I have done, and it's frustrating that you could help anybody who wants to get healthy by showing them doctors, experts and just normal people who have changed their lives by critical thinking and questioning traditional advice. It's frustrating, but I have reached the conclusion that people who want to be healthy bad enough can be healthy if they would just open their minds to the fact the world does not care about them, and lies to make money. Sheep get slaughtered, and people who are idiots, who basically are just about everybody I know and care about, it's sad to say are going to pay the price for their stupidity. I'm not going to be one of those people.
I also wish more doctors would learn this. I've been struggling for months to find a doctor to help me on my journey to get to optimal health
Try Virta Health.
Maybe you need someone other than a doctor… since doctors are trained to give drugs and bad dietary advice.

Love your work guys.
Once the drug companies see their profits start to fall, they will get it taken down.

Do you think it's borderline malpractice?
its not even orthodox. This approach has been established not that long ago as an integral part of selling us all the poison and then the magic pills.

Even smoking never did this much damage. It was also a lot easier to stop.
I quit smoking 43 years ago. A couple weeks of withdrawal and it was all over. Food is much more difficult.
Excellent advice, right here.

Put the sheep back on the land. The whole of the east coast of Australia is now covered in sugar and wheat. It's disgusting.
Mutton is delicious! Trouble is, most can't cook it right. Mom BBQ's it with a dry rub. Mmmmm!
High fructose corn syrup is to blame for diabetes and unfortunately most products in supermarkets contain this Poisson
