@a z I've seen too many Bruce Lee interviews where he was discouraged by how Asians were inaccurately portrayed in Hollywood and the West. To me, it would make sense to be as ethnically accurate as possible, if only to honor Bruce's legacy. When I see this lead actor, he clearly looks half Caucasian and half Japanese; nowhere near Chinese.
@@mestizoboy lol I know right! I'm assuming at some point in this series that his character is going to speak some cantonese/mandarin, and when he does I wonder how much is he going to mess up the language part. Unless they are going to avoid making everyone not speak chinese at all, that would probably ruin their entire claim about authenticity. A Chinatown where no one speaks chinese....
@@spaceforrest Dont believe in lies, if he was kicked out of school then how did he continued to learn WC up to the time he left HK?...the truth is Bruce ostracized himself from the class because the class found out he was being crafty (craftiness is not an honorable trait to have in HK). But the seniors continued to teach Bruce privately.
Shanon, your father would be so sad right now for making his show EXTREMELY violent! It's so Unnecessary. We really don't have to see all of that blood and gore. Just tell the damn story. Have some class people!
@@robin212212 His daughter didn't even know him. She was 4 when he died. But looking at the Bruce's style of directing and writing from Way of the Dragon? I doubt this amount of violence was what he had in mind. It was just for the sake of violence. Besides, she has NO CLUE how to market her dad's legacy. She has Gold in her hands and don't know what to do with it!
