I'm a U.S. citizen who supports the students. I am one of 6,000 men who have federal felony conviction records for refusing to kill Chinese and Vietnamese people during the Vietnam Conflict. (The Presidential Pardons did not remove the records but did restore rights such as voting and carrying a gun.)
Assuming ultimately 10 arrests, consider each arrest represents 3,500 murdered Palestinians. Nationwide, 3,000 arrests, each arrest represents 35 murdered Palestinians. The 35,000 dead don't seem to be stopping the genocide; perhaps it will take the ongoing global student uprising to stop the genocide...
Israel and the US gov't will attempt any scheme to support Israel's genocide of Palestinians.

I worked at the downtown single adult homeless shelter in Phoenix, AZ and many clients worked for Live Nation (Amazon too) but of course they couldn't afford rents. Huge corporations profiting of the unhoused population precisely because they are experiencing homelessness. Rents are so high even making $20 an hour there is no way to afford an apartment without living with multiple other people. The upper middle class just doesn't care at all about the working poor. The working poor are just there to be exploited monetarily and people are just fine with that. (I'd just add the only viable housing options for single adults experiencing homelessness are for those over 55 years of age- and even then it's a serious struggle.)
The large banks and corporate cartels had their claims frozen - during the 1933 bankruptcy reorganization. Then the Reconstruction Finance Corporation provided credit for the real economy - including for TVA and Rural Electrification. A similar Reorganization could be instituted now!

@@johnransom1146 A good number of Americans are enrolled in the ACA, which is effectively run by accountants - who require doctors to put an ailment into 1 of 110,000 statistical categories. If I burn myself in the park - it's in 1 category, if in the kitchen - another. Furthermore, the doctor must call an accountant to ask for permission to treat - then is often asked for more information. Thus little health care gets done! / For a 56 year old - premiums are $500/month, while deductibles are $8500/year - all of this for hardly any care at all!

I am concerned that the designation offered to Kenya as a "non-NATO ally" will encourage Kenya's leadership to use US backing and military support to reduce its dependence on "domestic" support for its future actions. Our support for Israel started out similarly and we ended up supporting an illegal occupation and an apartheid state in Palestine.
