thanks again for the kind words!! it took me few good years to analyze these concepts myself - and then I was eager to share these insights with the world! I am so happy that you find the teaching helpful for you!!! What do you dance by the way??
This video was very useful, and I find it also to be very entertaining Marcus. And well edited! Which program do you use for editing your video's? Thanks in advance for your reply. And keep on doing a fantastic job. Greetings from The Netherlands :)
Hey super salsa, I'm very happy to hear that you find in useful as well as entertaining 😃 I use Adobe premiere to edit the videos. Did you practice with the drill video?
@@MarcusBodyCoding Hey Marcus, thanks for your answer. I will look into it :) And to answer your question: I just started to practice from the beginning: the prep. I have been spinning since 2001. I got my first spinning class from Seaon the Stylist Bristol. Last week I was teaching some of my own spinning techniques to my salsa students. While doing research for a blog article about spinning I stumbled on your video''s. This is my 'Building on Succes' technique. What's your opinion? Thanks in advance for your answer Marcus :) ua-cam.com/video/rBNSUERTX_w/v-deo.html
Hey luke! thanks for the kind words! and sorry for the late response... the middle dancer on the top is Jazzy: this is his nickname - he is mostly a salsa dancer... ua-cam.com/video/MI2fKoJZKZA/v-deo.html
I'm just beginning my journey in salsa. I was looking for basics of ladies styling etc. I've seen a lot online on the subject, but these are by far the best. Thanks :)
Nicole Suares - I'm happy you liked it! *much more* coming soon! The material on this channel as I said is relevant for ladies and men alike - and they are the foundations for creating your style (men or lady). the foundations are of course the footwork, body isolation and spins.. After you master these - it is the time to create your style.. (lady or men..) and of course, go social dancing - and partner work classes - to improve your following.. the best advice here - I can give you is to dance with the best dancers!! - THERE'S NOTHING ELSE that will help you become a better follower - faster than this! I hope that was helpful! Have a great day - and hope to see you in the next tutorials...
Hey! thanks for watching the video! I have some tips for you that can really help your stability in the framework you described: right foot behind left, spinning on your left (and I assume you are spinning to the left - but that doesn't matter much) TIP 1: since you are prepping with 2 legs one in front of another - TRY TO KEEP BOTH LEGS VERY CLOSE TIP 2: try to keep your weight centered between both legs - and leaning more to the left leg - the one you are using to spin... (if you legs are close to one another - TIP 1 - it shouldn't be too difficult) I hope it is helpful for you!!! Give it a try! and let me know if it works for you! **Of course - you would still need to put a lot of practice to make these TIPS and the movement - part of your automatic movement - when you spin.... so give yourself and your body enough time to learn these new subtle but important movements to get the spins EXACTLY AS YOU WANT THEM TO BE!! GOOD LUCK!
Thanks for the kind words!! I'm happy these breakdowns hello you in such a way I plan to do the stability drills within the next few months but the fact that you're commenting... Makes it faster...😊😊 What do you dance by the way?
