It all comes down to efficiency of the device. Lets put it this way, take the energy output you get from the spinning wheel and use it to warm and cool the water. If you are able to keep the spinning wheel going for days without any intervention, you created the perfect machine, one that can create the energy it needs to function.
Yes indeed cold and warm water... But as it was described in the video the cold and the warm water is provided by nature . the water is warm and not hot, we don't need to boil it, we can use the sun to provide heat to warm up the water. Without thermal controls, the temperature of the orbiting Space Station's Sun-facing side would soar to 250 degrees F (121 C), while thermometers on the dark side would plunge to minus 250 degrees F (-157 C).. so if we need allot of electrical power, instead of using solar panels or nuclear power in a spacecraft ,we can use the deference in temperature to trigger the gadolinium to provide safe clean and compact power source of electricity to spacecraft, or even to use it in a colony on mars were we cant take a chance using nuclear power . just be open minded about the new possibility..this prototype has one magnet , imagine using four or six magnets, imagine stocking more rotors or wheels on top of each other what outpost we can have . in large scale the gadolinium will be stationary and the magnets will rotate ,to improve the output. Hi. Still need a lot of energy to get the resources in a correct condition - temperature, position etc etc to get energy from generator. The thing is u have to pump cold water/hot water through the pipes (need energy) etc etc... costs exceed the gains. BTW Gadolinium is great!
