Imagine if drew doesn’t resign and does a CM PUNK moment and leaves with the world title at money in the bank or if Drew’s contract ends in June, he could leave through the crowd at clash at the castle
That wouldn't work because he needs to be a babyface and go against an authority figure, the reason it worked with punk in 2011 is because there was alot of truth in what he said and how he felt towards vince and triple h.
Drew needs to keep being a hateful heel until punk is back and they can have their match
I can't see them giving Damien Priest and title reign of a two months. I think it would make more sense to weave his contract negotiating into the storyline. Have him win MITB. Let him leave after beating Punk at COTC, and then return at SummerSlam to cash-in on Damien Priest to get his title back.

Looking back, I think it was good to have Reigns retain the title at last year’s WrestleMania. Maybe at the time, it was too soon to give Cody the title.
It wasn't necessarily cody that wasn't ready they still had alot more to do with roman and like stone cold said cody winning at 39 would've felt predictable and now we are here I can say it was worth it
What adversity did Cody face from the roster within that first year? He basically had none. Did anyone truly think that WWE was going to allow an AEW founder, waltz back on in and within the first year win the biggest championship in the industry?

I miss Roman Reigns. Have not watched WWE since his loss to Cody. When Roman does return, time to dust off the TV, adjust the antenna, and start watching.
I didn't expect to see Roman back until around SummerSlam so I'm not disappointed or surprised. I honestly don't think he should come back before then. To do what wrestle at Money In The Bank? Roman is a special attraction. It makes sense for him to be gone a very long time after losing the title.
I don't mind it, at long as this happens:
- Rock leads the bloodline and is the Head of the Table with Heyman, Solo, Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu.
- Rock vs. Cody at SummerSlam.
- Reigns returns at SummerSlam as a face, screws over Rock for the WWE championship.
- Reigns reunites with Jimmy and Jey Uso, they unite the "real" bloodline
- WrestleMania 41: Battle of the Bloodlines, winner takes the undisputed Tribal Chief crown (Rock vs. Roman), Rock puts Roman over and everyone is cool at the end. Close the chapter on the historic bloodline run. The Anoa'i family unites and has their WrestleMania 41 moment.

@@dash1715 Perhaps 'screw' wasn't the right word, but maybe 'cost' instead. The point is Reigns realizes that this new era of the Bloodline has taken things too far, and he wants to pay them back for what they did to Jimmy.

We have to take into consideration that he is on Oral Chemo. He should take some time to take care of his health and come back stronger than before. What I'm guessing is that The Rock will fight Cody at Summerslam. If The Rock wins Roman will come back for his title and seat at the head of the table.

They took off the advertisement of him showing up on the smackdown before summerslam, so we don't know if he will back by then as well.
I expected this. The mantle took a lot outta em. Rest up Chief, you deserve it for how long youve held the title
I think Roman winning at WM39 was the right choice because they brought back the world championship and let rollins have his run (which helped bring up a lot of people in raw). Also, his involvement in Survivor Series Wargames & the feud with the judgement day made for great television as well.
The only thing I wouldn’t like about WM in May is the longer build from the Rumble to Mania… an extra month in between could kill the build just be of how long it will be between the two events

He need to catch a long break. I mean this guy has been carrying this company on his back for four straight years, and he made the Universial title relevant.
If roman takes a break and lets things cook with this new bloodline stuff, a face turn (he can be like stone cold a tweener who could work with heels or faces) would get an insane pop

I was always on board with Cody losing last year at Wrestlemania, but I thought the rematch would happen before way WM40, but things worked out. I still believe the fued with Brock Lesnar was the wrong choice thou. The matches were good but that story was ass for the most part.
I'm not mad at this. His rare appearances actually make his character better, plus it enhances the Bloodline story with either Rock or Solo taking over as Tribal Chief. Plus I'm sure this new development would give us 5 months of compelling TV til he comes back.
And I liked Cody's feuds with Brock and Shinsuke. The JD feud dragged on a bit, but it led to THAT WarGames match.
He's definitely coming back at SummerSlam and a different character change

I think full-time Roman after his heel turn is one of the best wrestlers (storyline, wrestling, promos etc) of our generation, part-time doesn't hit as hard. Having him as part-time feels like he just gets the "legends" role of being a money draw during big PLE, which is sad when he now has proven he can do so much more. This IMO is what will keep him from being mentioned with the likes of John Cena, Hulk Hogan etc.

At the time last year I thought it was a bad idea that Cody lost at WrestleMania 39 now it was a brilliant idea because we got that amazing moment of Cody winning the Undisputed Championship at WrestleMania 40

Roman never went more than 3 months without appearing cuz he was the top champion but mind you, the big reason why he'll probably never truly be full-time again is because of the oral chemotherapy treatment he has to take for the remainder of his life. Any form of chemotherapy will kick your ass and major props to him giving us more than 3 years of full-time work while on the medication.

his break is needed on both sides. not that i’m tired of seeing him but it makes perfect sense for him to take time off atleast for storyline purposes. and obviously he probably needs times off just for personal reasons. it all works out, he’ll be missed while bloodline storyline evolves. his return pop will be massive.

Like I said, Pilana, you're right. Although I wasn't happy with the bad decision at WrestleMania 39 Night 2, but the more I thought about it, it's like a Rocky IV style peppered in with the Avengers: Endgame like flair of Cinematic storytelling, I mean think about this, Cody losing at WrestleMania 39 Night 2, was pretty much like how Ivan Drago killed Apollo Creed in their fight, so essentially, Roman killed the Apollo Creed side within Cody, but when Cody had been through all that adversity, like going through the trilogy with Brock Lesnar and Shinsuke Nakamura, conquering the Royal Rumble mountain in 2024, getting his hand at Teamwork, during his feud with the Judgement Day with guys like Jey Uso, Seth Rollins, and Randy Orton, since he convinced KO and Sami to unite against the Bloodline last year, it worked to perfection, now that the Rock got involved in the picture, It's like both the Rock and Roman had the Ivan Drago personality inside them. So by the time WrestleMania XL kicked off, though the Bloodline won Night 1, it's like Drago got the advantage in Round 1 of the Rocky/Drago fight. But when Night 2 kicked in, and Cody kicking out, the Rocky side within Cody had awakened, and with the guys on Cody's side, like John Cena, The Undertaker, Seth Rollins, and Jey Uso getting involved with the Bloodline, it's like Rocky went the distance with Drago from Rounds 2-14, same goes with Cody as he went the distance with Roman and the Bloodline right up till the finish, and it was amazing.
I wasn't a fan of roman but he did bring some amazing and I acknowledged that kinda miss that smackdown feel different
We should stop the leaks and make the WWE unpredictable like the in the attitude era. It can be scripted but we should get it more subtle. Idk if I’m making sense.
I was at mania 40 both nights. It wasn't that cold I was in a t shirt up until around 7 p.m both nights. It wasn't brick, it was just a bit chilly keep mania in April
I do wonder what happens to the rest of Alpha Academy now that Gable’s heel.
I assume Maxxine and Ivy leave their respective groups to stay a tag team, but I have no idea what happens to Otis and Tozawa.
Three options
Option 1 - The entire group turns heel.
Option 2 - The group disbands and everyone goes their separate ways.
Option 3 - Chad Gable tells the members he doesn’t need them anymore and that from here on out The Alpha Academy is no more.

it’s just gonna make the pop that much bigger. it’s really not that big of a deal. WWE has plenty of top guys currently.
This will help other superstars like Cody to shine during his time away. Because when Roman comes back he be overshadowing and taking all the spotlight he's the centre of attention in wwe and he's more popular and always on the news if he can comeback now even without the title he will overshadow Cody Rhodes and make him look small while he's champ. Still when he comes back around summerslam the bloodline story with roman will oversize Cody as champ in smackdown,this is probably not advantage for other superstars more especially for Cody Rhodes.

The way you drive into the paint and strike fear into your enemies eyes. Your silky smooth touch around the ring, and that gorgeous spear . I would do anything for you. I wish it were possible to freeze time so I would never have to watch you retire. You had a rough childhood, but you never gave up hope. You are even amazing outside of the ring, you're a great husband and father, sometimes I even call you dad. I forever dread and weep, thinking of the day you will one day retire. I would sacrifice my own life it were the only thing that could put a smile on your beautiful face. You have given me so much joy, and heartbreak over the years. I remember when you first announced you had cancer and its like my heart got broken into a million pieces. But a tear still fell from my right eye when I watched you win your first wwe championship in the 2015 survivor series, because deep down, my glorious king deserved it.
