It feels like Noir Corne led the path to a new way for Soloblades to work. Hopefully gone are the days where they were essentally ASPD meters, now there's more nuance in their abilities through burst skills and potentially other angles (hlike shadow clones or something, hue).
Tbf I feel like their skills always had the most nuance to begin with, Akafuyu and Noir Chad have a *lot* of things you can do with their skills depending on the level.
While his S3 Dmg doesn't stand out among the really OP operators, people tend to forget that this skill can be activated every 5-7 damn seconds. That's not a burst that's a normal attack

Mf work super well against hard hitting enemy with that spammble S3 or can be a landholder with S2. But he can also easily got cheese by ranged enemies ( ex: the tank in chapter 11). This dude make you the player have to actually use your brain to choose his positions and proper skill to use against certain map rather than just simply throw him there and let the shit rip
@@HokstonsI'll give possible speculative hints: First, all soloblades before Zuo are tied to Higashi in some way (Hellagur wielded a Higashinese blade gifted by his fallen friend from Higashi, while Utage, Akafuyu and Noir are all Higashi natives). Second, Zuo is a Yanese boy and he's released during CNY
He should be considered as a BROKEN unit, since he can SOLO stages, but he's GOOD instead it. Well no complaining but he's a little underestimating by the players
Good and definitely not broken, he still have alot of stuff that hold him back. As always enmity cant be healed that need to atk to heal make them not convenient to use on blind run where u dont know what kind of enemy u will meet (he can be easily killed if there are bunch of range enemies or drone in his lane). His s2 is better for laneholding since block 2 and skill spam, but his s3 is his better dps skill for harder elite or boss enemies (his s3 have lower atk scale than nuke skill like degen make u cant expect he kill high def quickly, he still need some time to kill which make him cant block other during that), that dvition need u to chose between laneholding or boss killing. So definitely not broken but still good as ever for a musha ( although i am still mad how they make his s3 cant hit air when prev musha which noir alter already can hit air with s2 so he shouldnt have that limitation evenmore with his skill animation)
@@anisaliu3443 u know that most of that regen mostly only around 70 hps or prob around 200 hps max with perfumer s2 which ridiculosly low compare with an actual healing right, if the enmity cant stand those damage, than u are supposed to use other ops instead of coping with regen, since regen dont have burst healing
@@Eusthasia Well you said it yourself, if those regen aren't enough then its better to use a different operator instead. I agree with your point of them being balanced, I just wanted to point out there are ways to help them a little with regen in case they are unable to sustain themselves.

"Enmity can't be healed" is arguable today because we have many different ways to heal them now e.g. Skalter, Shu etc.
