@@romyok7409 No, that wasn't the case! How do you even come up with this? The only thing Edvin came up with, i.e. improvised, was jumping on the bike and the first two sentences, “You are so beautiful.” The rest was planned. It was a scripted scene, not a circus event. What some are thinking.

Edvin reacting to their scenes is just like us! So cute!!! In another interview, he said they complete each other and it's so honest of him because it's true. We can see this now. Their interaction in the scenes was so good, the chemestry and how they feel comfortable are the best things about the frienship they've been building so far. Omar loves to be seen, observed, a lot because he is very shy. So Edvin makes a lot of eye contact. Edvin loves to speak. Even when he interrupts Omar, it's cute. He seems like not having so much patience with Omar's flow to organize the sentences and he interrupts. Omar then stops and pay attention to what Edvin is saying. He seems to like to listen! It is a friendship for good! And for me, Omar should be very very cautious and focused not to fall in love with this sassy boy next to him! 😍 What was your favorito scene to film? This was really a GREAT CAST. They are perfect for the role. I love it when actors have chemistry on screen. They elevated the final product so much, so much so that many of the scenes that ended up on the show were improvised!
You can definitely like and love a person without them being together. It is well known that they both really like each other and that is a good thing. Three years of filming together in 3 seasons brings you closer anyway. Teenagers have a different path than adults anyway. It's written on both of their faces.

I love how some of the improvised scenes just added so much to the authenticity of being a young LGBTQIA+ teen in love for the first time. I legit thought of similar situations I've found myself in growing up as I watched those scenes and it felt so sweet (especially when so much of the show is raw and dark in tone). The fact that the entire "day date" scene at the lake was improvised is fascinating. These two work so incredibly well together! I hope they get more parts in the future where they get to act together in the same film/show. Chemistry like theirs is hard to come by!

I've watched this season three times already and I can't help but start crying, like SOBBING, at the end of episode 6. It's so beautifully done, so tragic, you can feel the pain, the cold, the tension. How fucked up and unfair everything is. How much pain they caused to each other. And how much they love each other. Also, I don't know if adding "I love you" in postproduction was supposed to be this way or if it was something they decided after filming, but it was a great move. If I was Simon, I'd been like "please, don't say it, please don't". God, it's so good! it was so nice to make them react to those scenes! Thanks for uploading it!
i know that i am incredibly late to your comment and im just watching this back and while listening im just reading comments, and this is totally random but i NEVER cry during tv shows and movies i even rarely cry in general, but whenever watching young royals episode 6 of season one, even i let out some tears watching it.
Am I the only one who doesn’t think the end of the series was sad? I mean they obviously are in love with each other, and both of them have reasons to step back a little, take the time, and it isn’t the end for them. I wasn’t sad.
Agreed! I was excited. I felt like that look Wilhelm gives to the camera in the very last shot is saying he’s going to do something his mother is going to hate, but will show Simon he really does love him above all else.

@AnnymitY85, hmmm, I've seen a few interviews where they described the opposite. Omar rewatched episodes 5-10 times and watched every reaction he could find wheras Edvin watched some 1 or 2 times and some he didn't rewatch.
Watching this again after the whole series is over is a mixed of emotions - theyve grown a lot as a person, actor, friends since this video to how they are now, which really warms my heart… but at the same time i know i will miss them… the comforting thought of knowing that “it‘s ok bec i will see them again on the next season“ is no longer there… you deserve the world edmar ❤
I love the way they both talk about the show their acting and improvisation the improvised scenes are for me the best ones i really think the S2 will end up with tears and pain bc of the situation the impossible choice between duty and first love
I think he is going to cause drama in the country because I feel like he will admit that it really was him with Simon. That look at the end of episode 6 on the word “revolution” just feels like he has to literally start a revolution, but it’ll be against the ideas of heteronormativity, as well as preconceived notions on how royals must be as people, rather than symbols of some archaic past political structure.

Thank you so much for uploading this on YT! honestly, Edwin is so me while watching Young RoyalsXD like the way he gets excited or shy at the love scenes and kinda fanboys and the way he reacted to the ending was exactly me!XD also their speculations of the s2 are very interesting for me. as a fan I want more happy scenes and you know, peace of mind for some moment in the series but also all happy and peaceful gets boring, I mean sure if it's this couple and this story and this series it's gonna be enjoyable anyways, but all happy gives the audience a sense of completion like everything's done and there's no more drama and plot and that's what I don't like. hearing their speculations now I as well want more drama, PAINXD, and plot but enough soft and peaceful scenes as well to make up for the pain we beared through the episodes. that would be the perfect S2! but I'm down for anything this whole team would send my way! good luck everyone! watching this I got cheekacheXD my cheeks literally hurt due to all the laughs and smiles I did through this short 30 min or so vid. A guy doesn't look down into even his best friend's pants unless 1) he is really, really comfortable with the other guy AND 2) he already feels there was "consent"; and a guy's natural reaction (or even fake one) is to pull away or at least recognize the awkwardness when someone is trying to look down your pants. To recognize it AFTERWARDS, Romance/Bromance, the chemistry is there.
I meant this comment as a tribute to the work of the "intimacy coordinators" and the concept. They seemed to have lifted boundaries and fostered closeness. I did not intend to suggest any off-the-set pairing. That would be, firstly, none of my business and, secondly, an offense to these two guys' incredible acting skills!
Edvin and Omar give good explanations of the scenes. Improvisation is part of it, which often makes an actor a star. Strictly according to the script is not always good. It's exactly the same in the theater. The intimate scenes should also be portrayed by both parties / partially improvised so that the audience perceives it as if it were real. That's well received, that was well received.The intimate scenes are played through, art, trained with a coordinator. BUT ! The action and the touching only takes place between two people. The way Edvin says it was good.

E: I remember that the take before this one I asked the question during the take. I was like what are the fish called? And you were like it’s a little hard to tell them apart. Really good. And then afterwards I said, f*ck shouldn’t we give them names? And then I said that you have to name them after your bandmates.
O: It’s so crazy that you even thought of that.
E: I think it’s so funny! For the people that don’t know, Omar was in a band here in Sweden and internationally? They had several names.
O: First The FOOO, then The FOOO Conspiracy and then FO&O.
E: And your bandmates are called?
O: Felix, Oscar, Oscar and Omar. And so I named the fish after those 3. And I remember during filming that I improvised-
E: Yeah you improvised the tweaks on set.

E: Yeah cos I told you that you had to name them and were like noooo.
O: I can’t like them after the guys. It’s a bit much.
E: And you were scared it was going to get cut.
O: Yeah or that someone would notice or I dunno.

O: Fun fact when this effect starts and when the film gets scary like it wasn’t really there on set. On set it’s our director Rojda that’s banging on the wall. Hitting it like “pow, pow, pow” and that’s what we’re supposed to react to. So what we’re reacting to is Rojda hitting the door. And afterwards, they’ve added the film sound.
E: But it’s so beautiful. This is like the first intimate scene you and I did. This was the first thing we did, the first kiss.
O: Maybe it was.
E: And it’s so f*cking good. Can I say that? I think it was so nice like we felt- Because we had worked with the intimacy coordinator it was so nice because we were so prepared for the scene and I think that was so nice.
O: Like it’s crazy. It looks so far away with this TV, do you know what I mean? I feel so far away from this. I dunno how I should explain it.

I've watched this season three times already and I can't help but start crying, like SOBBING, at the end of episode 6. It's so beautifully done, so tragic, you can feel the pain, the cold, the tension. How fucked up and unfair everything is. How much pain they caused to each other. And how much they love each other. Also, I don't know if adding "I love you" in postproduction was supposed to be this way or if it was something they decided after filming, but it was a great move. If I was Simon, I'd been like "please, don't say it, please don't". God, it's so good! it was so nice to make them react to those scenes! Thanks for uploading it!

Am I the only one who doesn’t think the end of the series was sad? I mean they obviously are in love with each other, and both of them have reasons to step back a little, take the time, and it isn’t the end for them. I wasn’t sad.
Agreed! I was excited. I felt like that look Wilhelm gives to the camera in the very last shot is saying he’s going to do something his mother is going to hate, but will show Simon he really does love him above all else.
I have been waiting for a comment like this, scrolling through videos on yt! Thank you so much! 🤩 It felt right in a way, Wille messed up and one I love you is not fixing the problem, but you can see just how much Simon feels for him, even if it is not expressed with words.

@AnnymitY85, hmmm, I've seen a few interviews where they described the opposite. Omar rewatched episodes 5-10 times and watched every reaction he could find wheras Edvin watched some 1 or 2 times and some he didn't rewatch.
I hope they did something like this again. It was so nice.

Watching this again after the whole series is over is a mixed of emotions - theyve grown a lot as a person, actor, friends since this video to how they are now, which really warms my heart… but at the same time i know i will miss them… the comforting thought of knowing that “it‘s ok bec i will see them again on the next season“ is no longer there… you deserve the world edmar ❤

I think Wilhelm is gonna realize he messed up and he isn't happy without Simon. He is gonna battle his mental health as well.
I think he is going to cause drama in the country because I feel like he will admit that it really was him with Simon. That look at the end of episode 6 on the word “revolution” just feels like he has to literally start a revolution, but it’ll be against the ideas of heteronormativity, as well as preconceived notions on how royals must be as people, rather than symbols of some archaic past political structure.
I hope so he and Simon belong together

A guy doesn't look down into even his best friend's pants unless 1) he is really, really comfortable with the other guy AND 2) he already feels there was "consent"; and a guy's natural reaction (or even fake one) is to pull away or at least recognize the awkwardness when someone is trying to look down your pants. To recognize it AFTERWARDS, Romance/Bromance, the chemistry is there.
I meant this comment as a tribute to the work of the "intimacy coordinators" and the concept. They seemed to have lifted boundaries and fostered closeness. I did not intend to suggest any off-the-set pairing. That would be, firstly, none of my business and, secondly, an offense to these two guys' incredible acting skills!

Watching it again and I love it.
Edvin and Omar give good explanations of the scenes. Improvisation is part of it, which often makes an actor a star. Strictly according to the script is not always good. It's exactly the same in the theater. The intimate scenes should also be portrayed by both parties / partially improvised so that the audience perceives it as if it were real. That's well received, that was well received.The intimate scenes are played through, art, trained with a coordinator. BUT ! The action and the touching only takes place between two people. The way Edvin says it was good.
