I went into SCA in my car while my husband was driving our 3 sons and I to Disneyworld in Jan of 2022. He saved my life by performing CPR until EMS arrived. I have an ICD now. I remember exactly zero % of the experience including my time in the hospital. I was awake for part of my time there but something about getting back to my home wiped it all from my memory. My perspective was going to sleep at home and waking up the next morning at home only it was a week and a half later and my hubby was explaining to me that I had a sudden cardiac arrest but I was home now and I was going to be ok. It was hands down the most bizarre, surreal experience of my life but I have experienced soooo much goodness along the way! I'll be 50 in March and I absolutely cannot wait!!!! I'M STILL HERE and statistically speaking I shouldn't be! What a blessing...WHAT A GIFT!!!!
