The Bloop" is the given name of a mysterious underwater sound recorded in the 90s. Years later, NOAA scientists discovered that this sound emanated from an iceberg cracking and breaking away from an Antarctic glacier.
@@dennismelton2261One of you.....great. Yeah, 4% has been explored. Yet scientists have found and classified tiny plankton, but the megalodon and a 200+ ft fish manage to go undetected. Got it. Holding out for bigfoot, chupicabra, and the skinwalkers too, I guess.
1. Is the back and forth really necessary? 2. That’s not what an ocean sunfish looks like. 3. Narwhals have one tusk. 4. With all the real creatures on this list, why include the Bloop?
They included the bloop because there is a segment of the population, a little bit lacking on the iq scale, who want so badly for the bloop to exist and for megalodon to still be alive that they'll just force the info in hopes that they can will them into existence.
Ok first of all (lol) that "fin whale" is actually a Right whale, Blue whales don't have pectoral fins that long, and the Bloop doesn't exist, and going back and forth from smallest to bigger isn't necessary at all. Pretty sure these aren't even "sea monsters" either, otherwise you would've included krakens and loch ness monsters with the Bloop. So far the worst size comparison video I've ever seen. Poorly done, no proper research involved.
Even though obviously the Bloop isn't real, I have always found the concept of it so neat and so terrifying. Also, the fact that so little of the ocean has been explored could mean there could be animals down there, just as terrifying and very very real.
It is impossible for the creature such as Bloop to exist and not have been detected. A massive creature at that size would be incapable of living in the deep oceans which are nearly devoid of life beyond microscopic organisms and detritus feeders. Sorry to disappoint you but there are no giant magical creatures in the ocean. The scariest thing about the ocean is the water itself tbh
You know that the common 'bloop' design is just an internet meme, right? Even just the size was impossible to estimate properly without knowing what kind of creature it was (there are very small animals capable of making unusually loud sounds). That being said, the sound is now believed to have come from a large piece of glacier breaking, which is much more sensible and parsimonious than "what if there's an unknown animal an order of magnetude larger than anything else we know has ever existed?"
My wife and I have a female Siamese Fighting Fish; she is less than 4 cm long and she is very cute, with her red-purplish colour. She is our tiny, beloved, cute 'sea monster' I'll dedicate this video to her, to our "Paolina" (in Italian, "Little Paula").
