you can have the handlebar tape go over that plastic edge so you have a smoother transition to the bars from the brake hood.

@@tinkerbike2510 yeah i think so too i wanted to buy one but the narrow size is only up to 40 i usually use 36 to 38 wide hehe

I was a little surprised too but after seeing them I get it. At the narrowest 42cm width the tops are pretty short due to the space taken up in the riser section

That was a lucky fall
My bike blew over in a big gust, but it fell the other way and pranged the derailleur hanger.
No fun at all.
