Thank you for these lessons. I've had a ukulele for a couple of years, but I couldn't do much with it because I didn't know any strumming patterns. Your series has really helped me recognize the different patterns, and make them manageable. I usually spend a couple of days on each lesson, so that I can master the strumming pattern. I love that this format allows me to do this at my own speed, and you do a great job of breaking things down into smaller chunks. I like how there are 3 steps to the lesson, and I appreciate learning new chord progressions each time. This has been a fun series. I'm contemplating sizing up from my soprano ukulele to make it a little easier to manage. I'm looking forward to spending more time with the ukulele!
As a beginner who start from zero your video is the only one I can patiently watch for I don't know why maybe because you know the feeling of being a beginner.👍
I am stuck at home with covid and found these videos to concentrate on improving my strumming techniques. Absolutely brilliant. Love the way they just concentrate on one aspect and are explained well and encouraging.
The way you teach everything is clear and easy. It's a good idea to associate the chord sequence with an existing song. My favorite strumming pattern is the Day5 but I like them all. Its nice to have choice. Thank you Kevin.
Really loving these videos, they're a perfect amount of information, and you give such simple instructions that aren't condescending, just so great! Thanks for all the time you're putting into all this!
Fun strumming pattern! I am so glad for this series. After doing some beginner series in March-April I felt a bit lost in which direction to go. To play songs was a bit too difficult. Then I found your 10 day course and made this as a fast refreshment. And then I found this strumming series which is the funniest! I have also discovered the more you learn the faster you catch up new patterns. I think the island strum took me six weeks this spring and now I can learn new one in less than a week. Thanks to you!
