New Zealand is home to a unique network of public huts and bivouacs scattered across our large amount of public land. Some of these huts are very popular, seeing plenty of outdoors enthusiasts keen to explore and enjoy our beautiful backcountry. But some of these huts and bivs are a bit harder to reach - they don't see many people and require a well planned trip and a few days to reach. The purpose of this series is to explore into these hidden gems, showing you how to get there, what issues you might encounter and how long you'll need to make the trip. We arrived at the sudden Valley biv 5.30pm,July 2006,after bashing through the snow.
The door was off it's hinges and the c##t was full of snow and possum shit.
Walked out next morning.yukk
